Very good manga ! I can't wait to see more chapters about it even if I think that the manga ended pretty well with this last chapter full of emotions and friendship

Kuragehime

Complete | higashimura akiko | 2008 released

I don’t know what to say...and now I’m tearing up... I’m so so so sooooooo sad kuragehime ended...my life has no longer any purpose lol To be honest, I shipped Tsukimi with Kai (who I found just gorgeous, I guess I have a thing for Asian guys after all) even BEFORE they kissed (BEST DAY OF MY LIFE). His personality matched just so well with her and they looked sooooo fucking cuteeeee. What I didn’t really like about the whole “ Kuranosuke-Tsukimi relationship “ is that there weren’t THAT much of interactions between them...it’s a bit disappointing considering how the manga ended with just a “I love you” from Kuranosuke and no response from Tsukimi like “yeah Kuranosuke we’re gonna make more and more jellyfish dresses together !”. I waited that much time just to see Kuranosuke confessing his love (in a strange way though) and without ANY KISS ??? EVEN KAI THE MISTER CHINESE FISH GUY KISSED HER DAMMIT !! And why didn’t they explored a bit more into the relationship of the big bro and the sly fox woman ? Or even the Indian beautiful girl and the chauffeur obsessed with his Benz car ?? The ending doesn’t feel like an ending...it’s just like the live action movie they made of this manga in 2014. We get pumped up all long, waiting for the big kiss that will perfectly end it, and what do we get..? NOTHING BUT A CONFESSION OF KURANOSUKE AND A OTAKU GIRL TSUKIMI STILL DEBATING NONSENSE ABOUT MAKING JELLYFISH DRESSES FOR HIM ???!!! In conclusion, i still really liked Kuragehime, or should I say Princess jellyfish...it was fun, sad and cute all in the same time...I was never bored and the art was just marvelous...especially the jellyfishes and the romantic, serious scenes. I also still thank the author for having done her best to entertain us as much as possible with her manga and I hope to read more of her work soon !
