Poopsiaetas's manga / #First Time Emotions(28)

Aishuu

Complete | minase masara | 2000 released

#Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Dubcon #Coercion #Blackmail #Cheating #Hints of Adult/Minor #Since Seme slept with any woman that approached him #Celebrity/Waiter #Highschool friends #Friends to complicated lovers #Uke can be painfully in-denial #Seme can be painfully self-unaware #Uke has habit of running away instead of facing problems #I'm the same way lol #Seme almost dies of broken heart syndrome #Dramatic ass seme #Asshole seme This probably would've been fixed a lot earlier if Uke had asked Seme, "So, it's okay for me to sleep with other people too?" Then when Seme realizes that 'no sir I'm not okay with that what the fuck', they would've confronted this issue then. But I can't really complain because they were teenagers then and they both have issues that would be impossible to work out on their own, which they seem to be. Uke is emotionally repressed while Seme is emotionally stunted, so of course they weren't in a position to help each other grow. Them being away from each other did way more favors than disservices to them. Also, author-san glossed over their issues in the manga, but there were hints as to what drove each of their actions. Uke doesn't even tell his parents where he's living and doesn't keep in contact with anyone. Seme, on the other hand, has never loved anyone, as evidenced by how he never cared about anyone leaving him until Uke came along then left. In spite of everything, they were the only healthy aspect of each other's lives...which is terrible, when you consider how unhealthy their relationship is. xD But what got me in the end was how they forced each other to change. Since Seme doesn't know how to identify emotion, his body was the one to tell him what the hell was wrong, which lead to Seme prioritizing Uke's needs, which is only fair because he needs Uke. On the other hand, Uke finally asserted himself and admitted what he kept hidden from Seme all this time. What was stagnant water between them suddenly started moving. It's not much, but it's enough for them to move forward together.

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Writer/Highschooler #Neighbors #Seme helps Uke take care of a cat #Smut is short but good #Uke is assaulted by some guy in chp 4 #Seme comes to Uke's rescue #Seme trying and failing to be a responsible adult This was a cute and simple story. I honestly don't have much to say about it. xD It was kind of slice of life in a way and I did enjoy reading it. There just wasn't much new content to make it stand out in the world of BL. The art is really good though!

#Actors #Celebrities #Seme experiences falling out w/ex #Ex is his cousin #So cousin incest #Seme moves on and falls for uke #Uke is gay for seme #Cousin was still in love w/seme #But let success-envy get in the way of their relationship #So it was over long before it ended #Uke envied seme too but encouraged seme to keep goin in his career #Seme kisses uke first #But uke is the one to fall for seme first I thought this was a very sweet story. The reason why first loves are so compelling is that there's this romanticism behind "first love = only love". This manga captures another type of love that is just as compelling: somewhere along the way, you fall for someone who ends up being your last love. That's the vibe we get from Uke and Seme and it's heart-jerking seeing how they go from 'Uke dealing with insecurities and Seme dealing with a broken heart' --> to --> 'Uke and Seme walking through an aquarium to allay each other's fears, healing hurts together'.

#Native/Aboriginal character #Seme is from a tribe in this small island #Uke is japanese and works in a university #Clashing of cultures #Exploration of a different culture #Respecting different cultures #Learning a new language #Coworkers bully poor uke into making him take care of a stranger lol #Volume 1: seme explores uke's world #Volume 2: uke explores seme's world #Fucking soul exchanging via tradition #I'm dead #Uke and seme marry yeeeeee So, I am kinda torn on one thing. Obv, the only way for Lutah to succeed in medicine and technology immediately is to have help of an outsider. I'm glad Enzou-san balanced that by having Seme, successor of tribe's leader, be the one to bring change to his tribe. The foreigner gives resources, the native learns and uses them to make new resources. However, there's that whole aspect where the Lutah is only filled w/beautiful and intelligent people, which...has that whole vibe of 'superheroes have to be good-looking to be compelling'. And that's all types of bullshit. BUUUT no story is perfect, so putting that aside-- --I. Freaking. Love. This manga. So much. Oh my god. I can't even say which part here was my fave. Poor Uke having to deal with a stranger in his house who can't even speak his language (which made me LOL so hard)? Seme learning what a kiss is and stubbornly wanting to do that with Uke? Seme and Uke 'exchanging souls' which, for the love of fuck, almost made me cry from how BEAUTIFUL that was? Seme and Uke getting married on the first time Uke steps onto Seme's homeland, which was like...fjae;ogijoigjreo;igjers;iogjoe GFDI. THIS MANGA GAVE ME SO MANY FEELS. But the one I probably appreciate the most is in v02c04. Since the Lutah are gorgeous and smart, it's easy to put their ppl on a pedestal, which doesn't do anyone favors. Uke does this and it leads to him being indecisive about how to move forward with Seme, because Seme is pushing Uke away due to fears and own insecurities. But Uke realizes that he doesn't love Seme because he is perfect--Uke loves Seme because everything about him, right down to the flaws, is beautiful. THEN WE GET THAT ICONIC [bleeped due to not wanting to give it away] SCENE YESSSSSSSSSSSSS.

#Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Highschoolers #Highschool romance #Dubcon #Uke has bi energy #Seme has demi energy with high sex drive #Also not self-aware so body has to react to make him use his head #The smut were was good #Uke is a pushover romantic #Seme is a slutty nice guy It was a cute story. The plot was derivative of the whole 'willful self-denial and ignorance' characterization, but there were cute moments that were interspersed that made me keep going. And seriously, the smut is good. The part where Seme does Uke in a semi-public place where they have a chance of getting caught and fucks Uke while Uke is talking to others did me in lol.

#Sadistic seme #Passive uke #No seriously uke I #Someone give the boy a knife to use during times like these #Biting fetish #Possessive seme #Dubcon #Rape #Sexual assault #Abusive relationship I was tempted to put this in faves because chp 5-6 + extra was really, really good at making the feels into a blade that could stab me through the gahdang heart. Buuuut the change was just...too abrupt. Too unnatural. This time, it made the Seme a caricature rather than a character. Which I do commend because it's usually the Uke with their "oh as long as you're the one doing it, you can rape me" shtick. But this time, it's Seme with the "Let me do a total 180* right off the bat with the power of love" shtick lol. Seriously, the rape scene was pretty bad. It's believable that the Uke wouldn't fight back--and even end up forgiving Seme--but it's NOT believable for the Seme to hurt Uke that bad and change so drastically just because he all of a sudden feels guilty. Like, /I/ was hurting in my pelvic region just from imagining the pain of that. Either way, I really did like those last chapters. If I just ignore everything else before that and concentrate on those moments, I still enjoyed this. I can't give it more than 3 stars tho lol.

Excludes chp 4-5, but the couple is cute there too. #Salarymen #Office romance #Uke uses dating app #Seme is uke's first time #Uke means for this to be a one night stand but falls for seme #Seme fell for uke from the getgo #Smut is nosebleed worthy #Naive uke #Experienced seme #Seme is open to switching #Uke is a natural bottom #Misunderstandings #Seme doesn't use his fkkn words #Sometimes experience hinders growth rather than encourages it #These are one of those times #WHEN THE HECK WERE YOU TWO DATING SEME #WHEN I actually liked this one a lot despite it being a simple...well, I want to say plot, but there wasn't much of one lol. More like tropes and cliches used to make plot devices as a story, but I love that type of thing. XD I really liked the straightforward way Uke approached things. Wants to lose virginity? Then hook up via a dating app!! And somehow he gets freaking lucky enough to get a respectful, beautiful guy like Seme lol. I laughed so hard at the part where Uke asks Seme what his ideal guy is, so Seme gives a description of how he sees Uke, and Uke is like...oh, so nothing like me. Okay. *sad face* And I was just...Seme, this is your fault. XD But yeah, this was fun to read.

#Uke is a construction worker who loves cooking #Seme is a reporter who does fun TV segments including one on cooking #Gay uke #Gay-only-for-uke seme #Shy uke #Pushy seme #Homophobia #What it means to be gay #Pretty sure uke's coworker is bi and has internalized homophobia #Seme loses his house in a fire and ends up living with uke #And they were roommates lol Tbh, this would've been 5 stars had it not been for v02c3-4. Those last two chapters just made me dock an entire star and since it's the ending of the story, I can't make this a fave of mine--which really sucks because I really, really enjoyed the prior chapters. But I hated the light-hearted way they portrayed the neglect + mental/emotional abuse of the mom, attempting to make her a likeable character despite not having changed at all. Though, I will admit that I didn't completely read chp 3 or 4 because of my disappointment of the plot direction. If I just...end the entire story at v02c02, then I thoroughly enjoyed the drama and growth of this couple and their character. There was great representation on what it's like being gay and being in a relationship that's stigmatized in society. The way Seme showed his dedication to Uke and how Uke was able to hold onto his courage because of Seme was just *chef's kiss* magnifique. xD Those first several chapters were really just a joy to read through.
