Poopsiaetas's manga / #First Time Emotions(28)

Senpai, Danjite Koidewa!

Complete | Harekawa shinta | 2019 released

#Slice of life #Older seme #Younger uke #Uke has scary face that's easy to misunderstand #Actually looks very cute when happy #Seme sees this and falls for uke #Tries to keep making uke happy to see that face #Seme and Uke navigate a relationship that's new and serious to both of them #Uke has always looked up to seme #Seme tries to be the guy that uke says he always has been Uke and Seme's relationship is just really cute and wholesome. Uke's emotions are so unfiltered and honest that I can't help but falling for him, like dang. I also like that Seme falls for w/Uke's openness, rather than being turned off by it. But thing is, even though Uke does see Seme for who he is, he can also idealize him in his head, calling Seme "my God" and makes it difficult for himself when interacting with Seme. The issue comes to head v2c2 and Uke fortunately takes much-needed distance from Seme to put his work first. Seme gets insecure about this and his issue of wanting Uke by his side because he feels lonely w/o him also comes to head. But they work through this, growing as a couple and as individuals, so it was nice to see. Their relationship is overall healthy and everything was consensual, so yesssssss. xD The only reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is cuz I easily get bored w/Slice of Life stories. ^^;; It has nothing to do w/the writing itself, which is spectacular.

#Slice of life #Emotionally and mentally abused uke #Uke learned to be codependent from and on guardian #Beautiful uke #Tattoo artist seme #Seme tattoos uke #Seme kisses uke w/o consent #Uke readies himself to be raped by seme #Seme shows uke that he is not that kind of guy and that uke deserves better #Seme teaches uke autonomy and how to choose for self "Oh. For him, this was the only thing he could do. The only way he could figure out how to express his feelings was by doing something like this." <-- This is THE reason why I wanted to keep this manga on my list. That line right there reflects so many truths for people who do horrible things, both to themselves and to others. Sometimes, the only way we can explain the pain is by inflicting it in ways that others can see with the naked eye. Especially if we never learned how to release or describe our pain growing up. Also, the Seme treating Uke w/the love Uke never received in his life made me melt. After being thrown away by that old man for hurting 'his art', it's so...comforting, for the Seme to take him in and treat him extra gently because Uke hurt /himself/. There are also other heartwarming moments that continue past that point. ^^

#Underage romance #Teen/Minor #Romantic tension between highschooler and elementary child #A lot of fluff #Kid hurt teen when they were baby and child #Feels bad to this day #Is taking responsibility by trying to protect teen lol #Cute moments between them #Childhood friends This is so cute and funny. I like that Yuu (17yo) thinks Tsu's (10yo) feelings are harmless, but then once he realizes that maaaaaybeee it's not, he's like "oh shit fuck oh no oh god". xD

ROUGE (KATSURA Komachi)

Complete | KATSURA Komachi | 2000 released

#Uke can feel again #Seme made uke feel things #Uke has god-worship for his hero #But genuine love and desire to spend his life with Seme #Uke felt safe and saved in his hero's arms #Uke felt loved and wanted in seme's arms #Seme gay for uke #Tho seme strikes me as gynesexual rather than hetero or demi Okay but the gahdang representation of a scarred uke and respectful seme. I was literally hooked the moment seme, without hesitating, scolded his friends for gossiping about tragedies such as uke being raped and passed around like an object. There wasn't anything like "oh yeah that was rape" but then stopping there and passing around more stories regarding the rape. It was just "Yeah that's rape, that's disgusting, why the hell are you passing that story". And the Seme does this TWICE. Two other things: 1) The way Uke CRIED when he told his hero for the last time he could follow him into the yakuza world. Every time before that, Uke was stoic and said it because he had nothing else in his life. But that last time, he was crying and IN PAIN because he finally had a reason to stop following his hero into the grave. 2) The utter respect and adoration Seme shows Uke. Despite Uke being clearly inexperienced, Seme couldn't care less if Uke gave blow jobs or was better at sex than his exes. What he cared about most was the Uke himself. sjg;oerjgoi;ejgio;rejg But one last thing I want to talk about: the Hero that Uke worshiped as a god, Yamato. Hero-dude wanted Uke to find his way. "Graduate high school. Eat a good meal everyday. Sleep at night and wake up in the morning. Don't become a yakuza." Honestly, that sounds like something a god would say. A god who would never be able to understand the life Uke would live, but knows that that is the life Uke should live--so when the chance arises for Uke to choose that life, he gently pushes Uke towards that life. It was heart-jerking.

#Slice of life #Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Dubcon #Sexual assault #Pushy seme #Uke has personality of child not teen lol #Possessive seme #Uke also likes to monopolize uke #Emotionally stunted seme #Seme likes to bully uke #Uke might be masochistic #Seme definitely sadistic #Uke loves him anyways #Seme is codependent on uke #Dysfunctional families #Still very sweet story #With utterly heartwarming moments This is more or less a collection of stories about one sadistic seme and understanding uke. They have a lot of super cute moments that made me helpless to their whim. Not a good representation of a real-life couple, but in a fictional world, it's nice to sit back with some milk tea, mille-crepe vanilla, and smile over their antics. Probably one of the best way to encapsulate their relationship is to share an excerpt from the manga. Seme, uncharacteristically, thinks to himself how he could turn into a frog and he fully believes that Uke would love him all the same--which makes him love Uke even more out of gratitude. Then Uke responds by asking, "Why can't we both be frogs and live out our lives together as frogs?" And, somehow, Seme falls even harder in love with Uke because gahdang, that adorable response.

Excludes chp 6, but that was a nice secondary one-shot of a cute couple too. #Cliches Galore #All-In-One Cliche Gathering #Playboy seme #Codependent uke #Bachelor-Turned-Devoted seme #Uke easily falls in love #Seme falls hard and fast for uke #Seductive manly seme #Cute slutty uke #Seme sees uke for who he is #That smut man *thumbs up* #CEO seme/Employee uke #Seme steals uke away from old company #Seme seduces uke via sex #Uke captures seme via love Okay but. This hit my kinks man. As embarrassing it is to say, I love certain cliches, like the one in this manga. Seme is a playboy that doesn't sleep with others more than once. Uke ends up breaking Seme's rules and ends even LIVING with Uke after one shared night together. Uke doesn't let this go to his head and only makes negative assumptions about Seme's out-of-character actions, which forces Seme to be honest about his feelings because being vulnerable is better than losing Uke. But not only that, because it's Uke, he can be vulnerable--not only did the Uke make Seme fall in love, the Uke made Seme trust him. Also, Uke's innocence wasn't annoying to me, amazingly enough. He is concerningly dependent on people he falls in love with, but he also doesn't let himself get swept away. He is smart and capable in his career. Since his mild personality means he lacks ambition, he willingly lets others take advantage of his skills or what not. But he does have a sense of self-preservation, so only lets others do so on his terms and can speak up for himself. Alongside that, he has this unabashed slutty side to him that reflects his refusal to choose pride over vulnerability.

#Childhood friends #Friends to lovers #Seme and uke only gay for each other #Wanted to lose virginity #So they lost it to each other lol #Two halves of a whole dumbass #Seriously so dumb #Thumbs up to whoever put down 'Big Crackhead Energy' as tags #But I love it because it's hilarious #Some dubcon vibes #But I think that's more from entering new territory in their long friendship I wasn't as irritated about the whole 'okay a girl is interested in me so I can try being straight' conflict in the story as I usually am. These two, the Uke especially, are still willfully self-unaware. But at the same time, they are best friends, so there's this familiarity that's hard to get past. On top of that, guy best friends. The tension of transitioning from friends to friends-and-lovers AND accepting your 'new' sexuality requires time and this manga portrayed that rather well. Another thing: Seriously love that Seme was not only willing to bottom, but wanted to bottom for Uke. It shows this huge level of respect and makes me root for them even more as a couple. I'm laughing though because Uke apparently doesn't have interest in topping, despite wanting to have lost his virginity the 'traditional male' way. Like. Natural bottom right there lol.

Excludes chp 4. #College romance #Friends to lovers #High school friends #Roommates #Dubcon #Emotionally stunted seme #Seme only gay for uke #Seme unable to expression feelings normally #Don't-use-my-words seme #Possessive seme #Pushy seme So I like that, both, Seme and Uke has been in love for years. The thing is, Uke can feel emotions normally, so he recognized that, yes, what he's feeling is love. The Seme, however, doesn't feel love the same way other people do. For him, the Uke is part of his territory. Any threat to his territory--that wasn't on his terms--is a threat to his safety. So when the Uke was about to move out, Seme reacted as if this was a personal attack and acted out of instinct/desperation, rather than logic. It was a great touch to see Seme asking Uke several times about how he felt so that he could compare it to his. He knows that he doesn't feel the same things as other people, so when he finds something familiar in Uke's confession that is exactly like his feelings, that's the only time he can label his feelings. When Seme said, "Let me fall in love with you", that was impactful and I loved it.

Complete | TENZEN Momoko | 2010 released

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Superior/Subordinate #Salaryman/Highschooler #Consensual in fiction rape in real life #As in yes Uke was the one to push for sex #But adult should've never had romance with teen in first place #Seme can say stuff like "I was forced to go through with it" #But that's BS cuz you can never put the blame on teen lol #At least he admits he's a bad guy for going through with this Anyways, despite ^all that^, this was surprisingly a super cute and sweet story. Seriously, there are several things that hit me in the kokoro but 1) the hiring sign Seme put on the window to encourage Uke to return 2) the way Seme cried in Uke's arm after admitting to the loss of his dream, and 3) The way Seme asked Uke to keep his eyes open during sex so that they can stay together for a little longer. I. Whew, I made unattractive noises at that line. And I love that we got a look into their relationship three years later. They're, of course, as in love with each other as ever. I love that we went from Uke accidentally breaking Seme's glasses and having to lead probably-legally-blind Seme by the hand --> to --> Uke telling others his heart only belongs to Seme and Seme telling others he's engaged to an angel. xD I'm a simple bitch and simp other content like this.

#Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Hanahaki disease #Perceived unrequited love #Uke choose die over confession lol #Does that count as a suicide attempt #I feel like it does #But Uke didn't really intend to take it that far #Anxiety just does stupid stuff to us sometimes #Being a kid makes things worse lol Oh wow, probably and literally the only non-doujin hanahaki manga. xD And of course, it's a freaking oneshot. So the story went by fast and wasn't quite satisfying, but it was still fun to read. I cackled when Uke was like "I think I'd rather die than confess and ruin my friendship with Shinya so byeeeeee". If I were the mom, I would've like...confessed for my son at that part so I could force his hand, because even if that's a shit move, I'll be the bad guy if that means he won't die. So how the mom never noticed the trash bags upon trash bags of flowers in his room is beyond me lol. Also, the fact that the Seme had it too--seriously, c'mon, he had NO SYMPTOMS. ARE YOU SERIOUS. THAT'S. WHY. But still, just take the story and enjoy as is.
