I had too many personal expectations. But the story itself is very good and obviously a majority of readers gave this 4-5 stars. The only thing is that there is dubcon and assault in first chapter, since Seme was acting out his dream, but he immediately stopped once Uke fully woke him up. Still an eye-roll worthy way for Seme to find out Uke had the Love Allergy. Otherwise, this story is more or less fine. The one thing I did like about this story is how Seme ended up being flustered, awkward, and floundering after getting off his medication and able to feel 'love' (lust) for Uke. He was able to kiss and sleep with countless other people, but with the Uke he loves dearly, he freezes up and is like "HOW DO I DO THE SEX AGAIN???" Which cracked me up and hit me right where I wanted it. I was bothered by the half-hearted way the disease was portrayed (which would require another paragraph of my ranting lol), but my main issue was that the angst didn't equal the resolution. Cuz w/the amount of drama these two went though, them entering a relationship was boring. I got feels from the angst and very little from the resolution, so what stood out to me was the pain Uke went through (which I know is not the Seme's fault) and not much else.

I mean...the fact Seme doesn't care at all...the apathy concerns me too. ^^;; Either way, I found it touching that Uke decided to let go of the expectations of his parents and put the human he fell in love with first. I am wondering how their relationship would go once the Seme ages. I mean, Uke is immortal right?? There's a lot of heavy things in this manga, but I get that that isn't the point of the manga. I still like certain aspects of it, in spite of the rest.

What got to me was the way Seme ended up opening his heart because he trusted Uke's genuine feelings for him. He convinced himself of being 'incapable' of it, but honestly, he's just so scared of the destruction love can cause that he narrowed the margin for who he's willing to destroy himself for. Uke fits the bill because the thought of him dying was scarier than whatever consequence would come along for falling in love. But do not forget that Uke is immortal and that he will live long after Seme dies--I can imagine that, after his death, Uke will allow himself to go back to being a jellyfish and never contact another human because Seme is no longer there. Or he'll search the Earth to find a way for him to no longer be immortal. Either way, it's heartbreaking. xD

Chp 1-2, 5.5: Okay, in spite of the content, this is my fave story. I'm a sucker for parallel worlds. If I were the mom, I would've like...confessed for my son at that part so I could force his hand, because even if that's a shit move, I'll be the bad guy if that means he won't die. So how the mom never noticed the trash bags upon trash bags of flowers in his room is beyond me lol. Also, the fact that the Seme had it too--seriously, c'mon, he had NO SYMPTOMS. ARE YOU SERIOUS. THAT'S. WHY. But still, just take the story and enjoy as is.

I enjoyed it more than the main storyline actually lol, which is typical of me when it comes to long manhwas such as these. I dunno, sometimes the stories can be too drawn out, so the side stories just gets down to the couples and characters in their new life since we surpassed all the story-building, dramatic moments, and conflict.
