I don't normally like historical or martial art themes but I did like this one, probs because it is fluffy underneath all the fighting. Just a feel good kinda read. Ch 201

Chp 126 This manwha deserves 5 stars for sure, I laughed out loud, I cried, and I stood up too excited to sit. Really draws you in. This is an ADULT story though, be prepared for violence and trauma. Short summary, ML gets introduced as a young boy ... trauma, he meets a girl ... trauma, the boy get OP, he finds friends, they all have trauma. Lots of people die, there is lots of bloody scenes. The girl he met before...more trauma. More people die. One death is so sad I am still sad. Then ML gets more trauma.

5️moved from updated. I have a very specific sense of humor and thus manhwa is perfect as a comedy. I giggled out loud more than once. It is a really fun read. Art is good, translations are pretty good. It starts with a young orphan who gets taken in by a master who trains him in martial arts. Good thing the boy is a self proclaimed genius or he wouldn't have survived his masters brutal teachings. Ch 117

Boy has a shit life, he thinks he might have power. Some random strong dude sends him to villian college (sounds better than it is for sure) he gets beat up and finds out he is strong because of his shit life and the anger that goes with it. Honestly I thought it was going to be great, it started well. I am 137 chps in, but I can't take it anymore. The female characters all are sexy background noise, even though the story pretends they are strong they never get a moment to shine unless it is against another female character. And they all stand with their tits and ass out in weird positions that no one could actually stand in. The story was fine for awhile but it doesn't make a lot of sense now and the translation has gotten horrible,completely unreadable. There are also random flash backs now that are trying to pull the story together, but it feels really forced. It is about to start a new arc, people seem to like it, maybe I will come back *shrug*

Honestly so good, though with a western education I am probably missing some lore that would help tie this together much better. Bira, young man, lead character has made me laugh and cry several times throughout. Each of the characters are a wonderful mix of evil, good intentions, past mistakes, both genders and personal desires. No one is a flat character and you end up trying to understand all of their actions, even when those actions break your heart. The character development is well paced and definite. It is confusing at times but does come together if you power through those moments. I am not sure if the confusion comes from the translation, the method of story telling or my own lack of understanding this mythology. The art is amazing, the style, the character creation, everything. It draws you into a world were all these amazing things are possible. 5️ do your self a favor and read this one. 4/5️ Chp 148, Sep2022 I give this 4️ because there is a lot of backstories on a lot of companies and it would be a headache to remember it all even if the translation was perfect (it is pretty good, not perfect). Rich, self made, brilliant ML is betrayed and lost everything, kidnapped and experimented on. His talent is removed and saved to a 'chip' and he is equipped with a device that lets other chips be inserted into him, giving him other people's talents. Through his own abilities (other than the removed talent) and recognizing opportunities he turns things around and starts to plot his revenge. There is one FL character, she is great, but other than her it is pretty sausage fest tbh. However the story is original and interesting and worth the read.

4️ Chp 103 Oct 2022 Good, not great, failed to hold my attention sometimes but very original ideas inside of a pretty standard man v world plot. It is new to have a main character that isn't completely OP. MLs sect is destroyed and the boy has a traumatic young life. Once he is a young man he takes the fragmented pieces he has learnt to attempt to get revenge for his family and friends. The more secrs he takes down, the more people he kills, the more he realizes he may have to kill everyone to correct the corrupt system.

Moved from updated 4️ ch 133 Dec 2022 Not a regular time travel, his ancestor brings him nano technology which helps him succeed. He uses the technology and his own determination and wits to rise amoung the other eligible sect candidates. He is not afraid to kill or maim his opponents so best to stay on his good side. Not too bad, though parts are definitely muddled as far as people's motivation and there are so many characters to try and keep straight and everything has the name evil, sword or demon so it can get confusing.

4️ Ch 110, Jan 2023 Pretty good, usually kept me interested but it dragged at times and is seeming to become repetitive. ML gets confused and wanders the Abyss for ten thousand? Years and comes back much stronger. On earth there is dungeons and monsters and the ones in control are the constellations who can give powers to their servants. (Though you don't need a constellation to be strong because there is magic everywhere). Hunters still go into dungeons but also have hunter sports. Not the best I have read, and there are major plot holes, but far from the worst.
