I love polyamory, but let’s be honest; the glasses guy was completely unnecessary . It’s like, I get you being attached to your childhood friend, but the fact that all that time he didn’t seem to feel anything for him until another guy showed up made him seem just fickle and childish instead of sincere. With Nao and Azusa, it was love at first sight which didn’t change no matter what gender Azusa presented, so it felt more genuine between them. Then glasses just come in on a consensual date and interrupts? Like, what? I don’t really see him as manipulative as other see him: he asks several times how Nao feels, and Nao seems to want the same thing since he even tries to practice specifically for Nao, NOT for glasses dude who just shows up and tries to push him down himself without his friends consent at all?! Their relationship just seems possessive, not natural like Nao and Azusa’s.
