Not a manga about rape, with smut and sexual violence centred plot. plainly a story about a dedicated goblin slayer (scene of rape by goblins = arourd 4 out of 42 chapters and the chapter is not centred on rape but on the male lead killing goblins and saving the rape victims without starting a relationship with them.) Very good.

No cutesy romance, just a tale about regret/remorse/perseverance/ ones own strength/ protecting/ surviving for a greater cause/ selflessness/ emptiness/ loss/ the feeling of despair. Very interesting perspective of the human psyche vs the perception of ones own life and its purpose when you feel that all is lost. Not depressing at all, but still sad. I read this with contemplation.
