What It Means to be You

Ongoing | Lee Bora,Ranyong, Ocean | 2000 released

actually what the fuck. i have no words honestly, the ml is consistently terrible EVEN UP TO THE FUVKING 70+ CHAPTERS. hes terrible to her and uses work as an excuse. he yells at her, refuses to listen to her, claims he loves her but does not once say it to her face or even make it clear to her. he just thinks hes worthless without money so he tries to buy her affection but thats no fucking excuse. and because his mother left him when he was young so hes afraid that the female lead will run away from him, making him very possessive. probably will be spoilery from here one thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was when the fl WAS LOCKED IN A CLOSET BY HER MOTHER IN LAW she went to him right after she was let out, but he was in an important meeting so he threated her to leave despite her begging to speak with him. and then she ran away to k!ll herself and he had the AUDACITY to be mad at her for running away and then another time when she told him that she was suicidal he started going on about how her life couldnt possibly be as terrible as his because she used to be a princess whereas he was worked like a slave when he was young. and dont even get me started on when she thought she was pregnant BECAUSE OF A MEDICATION THAT HER MOTHER IN LAW BRIBED THE DOCTOR TO GIVE HER but the ml wasnt able to get her pregnant so when she told him he got angry as hell accusing her of cheating, which obviously made her upset because she didnt. eventually he comes to a point where he realizes everything he did but like despite that, hes still a bad person ??? like hes still possessive, still tries to buy her affection, and still coerces her to stay with him. like i just cant deal with this fucking ml he annoys the shit out of me. this is not a romance. it is a real story of how abusive relationships work. hes manipulative, and shes a victim.
