Cheng Mu, teacher is interested in the writing of Shen Sheng, his student and wants to support him. While at a convention something physical happens between the two of them. Shen Sheng is excited about what he thinks is the start of a romantic relationship, but quickly finds out that Cheng Mu didn’t mean anything by his actions. Shen Sheng is devastated. After time Cheng Mu gives in, because he just can’t stop thinking about Shen Sheng. He even quits his job as a teacher, to prevent any possible issues that could arise from their relationship. Shen Sheng is insecure because he’s a poor student that’s starting out as a writer. Whereas, Cheng Mu is smart, successful, and also friends with a popular author and a famous writer. Cheng Mu is frustrated that Shen Sheng doesn’t let him support him the way he wants to. He also feels insecure because Shen Sheng is youthful, handsome and extremely attractive, due to his kind and gentle personality. Cheng Mu comes across and dark, and moody, but is completely transparent when it comes to his feelings for Shen Sheng. He’s constantly jealous. The story is interesting. Both of them are writers and while there is a huge difference in wealth (genre standard) they don’t have a typical BL relationship. I found the ending to be surprising, and incredibly romantic.
