Love me in the Wilderness
What a masterpiece! Upon the death of his trusted uncle, the CEO of a successful company finds that he is not the heir to the company as he expected. The majority stockholder is now a complete stranger, an outsider that seems to be overflowing with hatred for the company. The men are beautiful, the story is interesting, and just emotional enough to leave a little scar in your heart. I loved every moment.
Cherry Blossoms After Winter
As kids, Haebom was Taesung’s only friend. They were really close as kods, but they’re suddenly forced to live together, as brothers, after the death of Haebom’s parents. Haebom over hears Taesung telling his mom that he doesn’t want to be brothers with Haebom. Hearing this, Haebom tries his best to behave and stay out of Tarsung’s way. This goes on for year and they eventually grow apart. In the last year of high school, for the first time they are in the same class. They act like they don’t know each other until Taesung notices that Haebom is constant sly getting bullies at school. Taesung starts to keep close to Haebom and protect him. This causes them to become close again, and they realize the distance between them the last 12 years was due to a misunderstanding. They realize their feelings for each other, but Haebom doesn’t want to disappoint his adoptive mother, who is Taesung’s biological mother. Taesung’s mother adores Haebom, considers him her son, and knows it’s good for the entire family to have him around. The story is adorable and follows them through college, and then as adults working in an office. The genre goes from shonen air to yaoi at this point. It took a few chapters for my brain to adjust to the naughty things, this once wholesome couple, was doing. Adorable couple, and their mom is fabulous too!
Fools
A junior in college overhears an underclassman getting dumped over the phone. They see each other in school and become friends. The events and feelings portrayed in the story are so relatable. The stress of dating, the “push pull”, and wishing you knew what the other person was thinking. Such a sweet couple, with moments that really tugged at your heart.
Anti Alpha
Two alpha students are rivals, until one finds out the other is actually an omega. The plot is nothing special, but the characters feel very real. No complaints about the quality or frequency of the s** scenes.
Heat and Run
Omegaverse. Childhood friends driven apart by a misunderstanding, are reunited again 5 years later. Typical omegaverse story. However, because the omega manifested late, his body is big and muscular like an alpha. I really couldn’t give a s*** about the second couple, but it felt like more than half the story was about them.
Hate You, Love You
Two childhood friends slowly develop feelings for each other, although, at different paces. One doesn’t like being touched, due to being sexually abused as a child, by a teacher. As they grow older, the art style improves, and they turn into gorgeous men. The supporting characters are also funny and interesting. The story was sweet, but had it’s fair share of drama. Contained s** scenes, without showing any junk, if you know what I mean…
Do You Know A Fairy?
High school student can see guardian gods and spirits.
Untouchable
So good! They’re both so nice to look at! A worker at a security company wants to go back to high school. At school he meets a chaebol with a cold personality. They pick on each other constantly, and eventually become friends. The chaebol is being groomed to take over the family business, so his dad doesn’t want him to associate with someone lesser than him.
Timeless melody
Byunghoon runs away from his family in Hawaii to move to San Francisco hoping to be come a singer. He struggles for months. While performing on the street, he’s approached by a man who asks him if he wants to be the singer at his bar. On his first day at the bar he meets Minseok, a very cheerful and friends guy that’s also Korean. The two become inseparable as friends and duet partners. They seek fame together, but Byunghoon starts to notice that Minseok’s heart is elsewhere. Such an adorable friendship, which makes it so painful to see them apart. Not considered tragic, but be prepared to ugly cry after reading this. I started sobbing at Chapter 1.
