Two guys reunite in college after going through a horrible break up in High School. Quickly they realize they want to be with each other again. Their feeling for each other are so simple and strait forward, they love each other so much, but that passionate love fore each other is what causes conflicts and complexity in their relationship. Emotional rollercoaster ending with tears of happiness. Would give this 6 stars if I could.

Hyun and Myungook were close in high school, but their friendship takes a nose dive when Myungook takes Hyun’s spot as the No. 1 student in class. They meet again about a decade later while working at the same marketing firm. Initially, they fall right back into the same routine of unintentionally hurting each other. But now, as adults, they finally confront each other to clear up possible misunderstandings. I love this couple. I sympathize with both of them. Hyun was cruel, but it was easy to understand why he was mad, hurt and jealous. Of course Myungook would be hurt by Hyun’s actions. He understood it was jealousy and competitiveness, but he never knew the reason Hyun wanted to be the top of the class. The story overall had enough complexity to make it interesting and tug at your heart, while still feeling light and fun. I would have liked to see more s**, and more intensity to the s** that is shown, but that doesn’t prevent this from being a 5 star read.

High school friends meet again as adults. 2 alphas become f*** buddies. Kind of cute until the end where you see all the manipulation that occurred in the past.
