21. HOLD UP. So based on the spoilers, MCs mother died protecting her from the Holy Spirit and this bitch doesn’t know anything about the story she read and is just befriending the Holy Spirit for no reason?? She’s dumb af. Very typical, nonexistent plot, decent art. Author doesn’t explain the main story and sloppily said she wrote the story but idk why she’s reincarnated when she acts like a kid. The fact the dad treats her nicely while her brothers are soldiers is messed up too. It’s not cute or fun to read.

It’s gross how their first time was with the kid sleeping NEXT TO THEM wtf. It’s your typical toxic yaoi combo: using threat of r*pe as plot device, fast pacing, forceful relationship, etc. Uke really doesn’t learn anything when he ends up with the yakuza who he knows for like 2 days. He didn’t learn from his first relationship and it’s even more dangerous that he kept getting involved with the yakuza when he didn’t even have to. Crap story overall.

2. Dropping this because 1. MC is stupid despite being way older mentally, 2. MC doesn’t have a personality, and 3. the way MC describes her exhusband sucks (like her complaining about not being able to wear heels and etc.) MC can complain about a loveless marriage and not being happy in it but the way she complains makes it seem trivial which makes her seem unlikable. Mother daughter relationship is cute but their reason for not liking the exhusband makes them both so unlikable. I read spoilers that apparently her ex was a cheater but she wasn’t aware of it. I’m not taking his side bc he deserves to get bashed but the way MC whines about him not knowing the entire truth bc she’s dumb and self centered is what makes me not like her. Art is okay, however I have a feeling the plot is going to suck from here onwards. MC isn’t very interesting and neither is the plot.

Only two chapters in but the secondhand embarrassment is so real. I hate how they’re portraying S/M to be this quirky thing, like the FL and ML are both not assaulting people. It’s so cringe and gross that it’s a challenge to read through this with a straight face. Someone teach mangakas some lessons on consent.

6. The uke has no personality or say, mf can’t say no or stay firm when two STRANGERS molest him basically. The twins also have no personality other than their criminal record as assaulters. The art is nice but the author needs help. Mother keeps treating her grown ass son like he is a baby, there was no need for her to make her son meet the family on the first date. I don’t count this as incest since they just met but it’s still messed up to read and hard to enjoy.

Read this a while ago and remembered how much I hated the MC. The manhwa is well drawn but MC is written as an old Korean lady who thinks she is always right. She is nurturing but also rigid and insensitive. This sort of behavior is fine from the elderly since they’re going to die soon but not from someone who got reincarnated into a character and got placed in another world. Like how she slapped the guy for not pouring her a drink, like wtf? This is set in European fanfic era with made up characters—it’s weird to expect people to follow rules of Korea in a world you based off of Europe. MC is very unlikable because she doesn’t try to adapt to the world and instead expects the world to adapt to her. Her dumb behavior gets passed off as romantic when it’s just weird? Truthfully, MC isn’t based off of actual Koreans but more so a stereotype of them which gives her no dimension. I don’t get what’s so hard about writing a good novel.

5. Long title, awful female lead. All characters are two dimensional, and the female lead is worse than one dimensional. She doesn’t do anything but just stand there and act surprised. No backbone no personality no reaction. Hope all characters burn. What a waste of time
