Yes, this was indeed quite worthy of the 9.4. Ugh, cute, hot, romantic, smutty.... wow we got it all huh? It was short, but oh so satisfying.... wildly exaggerated BL sex scenes but only in the best of taste lmfao.

Okay, so I love plot twists like this where someone’s pretending to be sweet or nice or innocent in some wya but turns out to actually be crazy unhinged or super menacing. Have always loved it ever since I first started watching anime. Especially love or where the art style exaggerates it like this. It was such a wonderful reveal bro! Also the entire concept for this BL was dumb original which is harder to do with the omega verse trope. Well deserved 9.4 and all the praise it gets. Didn’t even mention how it is full color and in the exact style I love. I’ve actually never been so upset by something being too short on this site more than I have this. I feel robbed tbh, lol.

Lmfao, while I can see why others gave it a 9.5, I’m giving it a 9.4. It was above average that’s for sure, but not distinguished older men/DILF’s aren’t exactly what butters my biscuits you know? Although for Hishimoto-san....... shit I’m willing to make half of an exception lol. Anyway, even though the sex scenes and hot scenes were written well and drawn very sensually, I didn’t find the top or the couple in general hot so it’s a shamed it didn’t work out that well for me. But yeah, sex/hot stuff aside, this was very well-written and humorous in a way I’m not sure it was aiming to be lol. Also we love a rare truly kind and respectful and non-problematic daddy!!

Ayoooooooooooooo wtf?! THIS RIGHT HERE, is the number one example to prove the fact that you fucked up fujo bishes on this site only like toxic shit hahahah. Jokes aside though this was beautiful. "Wholesome" isn't even it -- but just classy, tasteful, touching, and all around.... beautiful. Wildly realistic from the art style, to the sex scenes, to the anatomical depiction of the male body with and without their clothes on, to the plot, to the characters' essences, to the dialogue. All of it. The top is stoic but not in a tropey way - in a way that is like "yeah... not every everyday person has a personality as big as people do in fiction". The bottom wasn't over the top either, but way more subtle with his quirks and amiable characteristics. Every single little aspect of this manga was devoid of exaggerations usually found in BL's that are written for the "female gaze" - to the point where I am 100% convinced no one but an irl gay man could have written this lol. (I have no real basis for that haha, just a hunch.) Anyway, yes this was realistic as fuck. The MC was so cute and funny, again, in a subtle realistic way. Not too clever or quirky for real life people to relate. The way he playfully teases the top is adorable!!!!! The chemistry between the romantic couple was soooooooooooooo lovely. It flowed effortlessly like a cool stream hidden deep within a forest, untouched by man. It was graceful bro. They weren't soul mates meant to be, but just two regular people who started off as fuck buddies who met at a bar one random time, but then happened to suit each other really well and then decided to become a couple. Aside from being realistic and cute it was also just so moving ughhhhh the top's little HS backstory in the last chapter????? oh nooo poor baby. what a relatable portrayal of the real deal ways that it be to grow up and realize your gay in a society where that's no beuno. Touches on themes of broken trust between good friends, false (or at least misdirected) ally-ship, self-repression, self-discovery, self-liberation, abandonment, etc... Oh brother!!! Boi do we have a frfr re-readable one right here. Anyway, my dearest BL, all in all I dub thee a 9.4. Just lacking a tiny bit too much spice (or just any seasoning really) to be a 9.5. (I see why some say it's a bit boring). P.S. - This was a 9.2 so I almost didn't read it. this BL scores brownie points for the reason I did read it/why it caught my eye: THAT BOMB ASS TITLE!!!! I’ve never ever ever seen a BL that was such equal parts smut equal parts fluff. Barely a plot, no drama, no conflict, just horny cutsie puppy love vibes~ I adore his author’s art style and always have + they really dedicated themselves in this BL to the theme of “sexy wholesomeness” like I’ve never seen anyone else do before. I’m giving it a 9.3, it also making it an honorable mention :)

stop stop please no this was so frickin cute. it gets a 9.35 because it technically speaking wasn’t more than a 9.3-type BL (plot-wise and stuff) but man the extra UMPH of a cute factor multiplied times the adorable quadratic to the :3rd power was AHHHHH SOOO FUCKING CUTE. ugh, anyway I loved that bro so yeah had to add the extra half a point for the cuteness overload.

This was so solid and pleasantly typical. Ended so neatly at 50 chapters without dragging on too long or being toooooo rushed. It was still a bit rushed, but at a minimum I’ve seen pretty much all that needed to be seen. We could have spent more time on making sure that the couple going from “I don’t trust you or like you because you used me as bait” to “I love you so so much !!!! didn’t happen so instantaneously. Meh. Cute couple, nice art, some sexy sex scenes, and pretty damn great humour in generous amounts. Plot bodied what might be my absolute fav smut/fanfic plot which is the whole becoming the mafia boss’s paramour then partner. It’s such a great one. Especiallllllly when the MC has one million other suitors that the mafia boss has to fend off of them. Eeeeeeeeeee. Can’t ever get enough of it, in any form. Viewfinder anybody? But some things that usually come with this trope were done way better here and I like that. Mafia boss was really gentle with MC, never raped or forced them. We love to see that. Something I wasn’t too keen on was the seemingly too non-chaulant manner we dealt with the cousin who raped him when he was 19.... they were not kids at the time.... I would’ve liked for us to have taken the whole thing a bit more seriously. But other than that, no other real real qualms. Most impressive thing about this? The storytelling style that was used to execute the plot. It was subtle things here and there and there that showed that the author has a talent for telling a story. Sure there were a few times that things got a bit confusing because the events were out of good order, but meh it happens. Overall though, it was super refreshing to see real-deal manga storytelling in a BL. Doesn’t happen all the time you know? Anyway, due to this being one of my fav tropes and it being a full color long form manwha (my fav BL type), as well as the storytelling golden nuggets, this was a really fucking nice time so it gets a 9.45. :3

9.5 for me... -The first couple and second couple should have gotten sepereate BL’s instead of separate seasons in the same Bl (first couple alone would’ve gotten a 9.6 maybe even 9.7 out of me, but because of second couple the whole thing gets a 9.5) -I love hwa gok -Not fond of Lee bin -Even less fond of hwa Lee -Did not like seolhyun at all at first but they made him physically and personality cuter so I warmed up to him and started liking him more than hwa Lee but DEF never as much a hwa gok -I was ROBBED of getting to see hwa gok and his baby while hwa Lee was young
