Wildly sweet in its simplistic nature. To the point, not cluttered with any more than it needed, no fat left to trim bro like.... I mean it, this was really concise- and impressively so. Absolutely adorable and healthy couple that deserve the world. Precious and cute baby/baby girl. Wonderful side characters that only ok up as much space as needed. EASILY the most wholesome content in my library. Man, was this BL a true breathe of fresh air!! *sigh* it was a lil magical. Not my a fav, of mine but still a solid 5/5 :3

Woah! Better than expected for a 9.3, however there’s a good reason behind that. At first I was like “damn, nah this is a 9.4 for sure”, and then it hit me........ where’s the sex tho? :0 Lol, like not like I was expecting or needed gross amounts of super graphic butt sex or anything (like a lot of fujo’s seem too haha) but really just like, not even a few steamy non-sex scenes or nothing bro. Tbh, this is a whole shonen ai, however, ever so ever so ever so slightly too grown to be a shonen ai (but like, blink and you’ll miss what it is it that makes it this grown). Sigh.... anyway, yeah no this was wonderfully refreshing and playfully cute. Big baby head wholesome uke. Lovely and wildly laid back but still complete world building and storytelling vibes all around. Very much less-is-more approach that worked out really well. Fun read, would read again. On the super high side of 9.3’s.

I’m not gonna lie... I found this boring. That being said this is still a straight up fire BL. Quite literally healthiest BL couple ever known to man. And honestly, I highly suspect it being so healthy is what made me bored. Lol, something is wrong with me hahaha. I’m just 1) so used to the toxicity of BL’s that the healthiness of this one felt unfamiliar to the point of me not thinking it was all that good at first and 2) a problematic individual in the sense that messed up things, taboo, and social deviance is what gets me intersted/going LOL. So anyway, yeah it took me literally over a week to finish this BL because I kept taking breaks thinking it was boring, and ultimately it took me getting to the last 3 or so chapters to fully recognize that the extreme healthiness of this couple is wherein this BL’s strength lies. So yeah, all in all this is one of those “it’s objectively golden, but from a subjective note it’s def not one of my personally favs”. Model BL all around. Deserves an award.

This. Author. Strikes. AGAIN!!!!! Ugh, wow she is too good at making baby heads like what? Ugh, wait not even. She is good at making character who just ARE baby. There’s “you’re a baby head” and then there’s “you are baby”. Ya know? Ao just isssss baby. Yes this BL is great for lots of reasons that are as to be expected from this author. Lovely, fluffy, realistically complex characters. Hot consensual, non-gratuitous yet also not underwhelming sex. And a uke that is baby. Hw we something separates Ao from the others in aytho’s other works but also..... from BL’s I usually read altogether. I want to be topped by lots of the seme’s in these BL’s x obviously right? Then every know and then (rarely, but it hapens), I find a uke that I want to top me as well. This here is the first time I have ever feel the genuine urge to want to top a uke. Like..... Ao is so fucking hot and sexy but also ugh woah way to adorable and I.................... ikindawanttomakehimcry . I literally never thought I’d ever think this way because I’ve always thought is was weird and foreign to me when seme’s mention wanting to do that to the uke in BL’s and also just it being a general Japanese cultural phenomenon of the “cute crying face” thing but ummm yikes, did it really catch me too with this guy? I think it’s most likely due to his moe gap. It... stirs my emotions 9.4

I never think BL’s are heartwarming. Cute? Yes. Fluffy? Yes. Feel good? Yes.but heartwarming??? Never. This BL here though (along with Kazoku Ni Narouyo) were heart-warming af. On top of that this one managed to provide a throughly thought out and relevant social commentary befitting of a Women & Gender Studies seminar on a college campus. Well done, this gets an A for me. The 9.3 is nice.only thing holding it back from being higher is that while we had art, plot, and intellectual complexity that was above most other BL with a healthy couple to boot, it somehow seemed to come a t the expense of the characters that make up the couple having any amount of spice (or even salt and pepper) to the. They were cute and they were good but they were also just.... lacking. (Not Rutta to Kodama levels of lacking but... still).

Stop. Hold the fucking phone. Why the hell is this a 9.2 while the likes of Raion Gotoki no Kuni Kara is a whole 9.5?!?!?!?! What the hell? Ugh, whatever. That aside, this was a 9.4 for me dawg. U fucking WU bro. MAN this was so frickin cute. I’ve got one word to describe this BL: “KYAAAAA!”

So much misused potential it hurts to see it . This couple is HOTTTTT, and their love story is quite sweet but unfortunately it is also quite rushed. Like I mean damn, ngl I thought there would be double the chapters than what I got. This was reading like content that could have given/was supposed to give 40 something chapters but we got 25 :( And more so than rushed it was poorly executed. Like it wasn’t a hot mess by any means. It’s just that if the story was told right it could have been a 9.4. *sigh* even though this def needed some work storytelling wise, the premise, the plot, the characters, the romance, the art, and the humor were all good. Especially the humor hahaha. So like, I know some people would think storytelling trumps all of those and is the most important thing and that’s why this was ultimately rated a 9.2, I’m not gonna do that to this. This deserves more than that. I can’t give it the 9.4 I wish I could have, so I’ll settle for a 9.3. Side Notes: -MC was HILARIOUS ahhh he was so adorably ratchet I loved him -“seme” was HOT Ahhhhhhhhhhh fuck me up daddy please -I’m not usually thirsting for switches but this one was nice af because I want both of these mens pleassse
