Okay so like.... I like. The first couple. They were pretty quirky and cute (but def more quirky lol). They had a super romcom anime vibe to them as opposed to a BL vibe. Had this BL ended with the first couple, I was considering at some point during the first couple’s part labeling this as an honorable mention. HOWEVER, I am NOT a fan of the second couple at all! I labeled this as “f’ed up” because of the second couple. But like, it’s not like they’re actually super duper messed up like most of the other things I give that label. Just messed up enough for me not to like it though. The seme upset me greatly and had all kinds of rapey non-consensual vibes about him. And I don’t mean that in the way where BL seme’s are often like “you haven’t given me consent but you definitely seem to be enjoying this so I’m going to continue”, but more in a “you haven’t given me consent and you don’t really seem to be enjoying this but I don’t care because ‘i kNoW yOu LoVe mE’, so I’m going to keep on doing these things you seem not to like”. It’s like... ewww dude. Also the way he thought he should first let the Ike know of his feelings for him by randomly staying over at his house and trying to rape him in the middle of the night as he slept? What the literal fuck :/. That shit is not what it do. So anyway yeah, first couple was nice, but the majority of this BL. Is made up of second couple and they SUCK

Conflicted, but only for a quick second. This was trash. Sure, there were some pretty damn smexy sex scenes here and there. Sure, the art is commendable (despite really really really not being my taste). Sure, I kind of like guilt and inner emotional turmoil in my characters and the couples’ thought during the time they were broken up were nicely done in a painfully realistic way. HOWEVER, yo I fucking hated this shit so much! These characters literally exist only to be in a BL I swear. Why the fuck would the uke masturbate in the living room when this isn’t his damn house? Why was the supposedly straight literally being so damn touchy freely and damn near flirting with the seme before they were together but in a way that screams “he’s only, doing that to move their relationship along”? Why why why why why a whole bunch of things bro. Character motivations who?? What the fuck kind of plan was it to make the seme come to the conclusion that he was in love with his step mom so damn early on with like, zero details to base that off of? What the hell man??. Abusive asshole of a seme but NOT in any kind of cute or hot way. Repeatedly has sex with uke while uke is drunk, but not only would he refuse to acknowledge this is rape, also it’s the uke’s fault? I’m sick of that shit it ain’t cute bro. Literally such a damn child of a seme that only cares about his fucking nut and his irrational head ass feelings. Bro yikes this was yucky. Why is he so ridiculously rough in the way he treats the uke? And dangerously temperamental at that. Always trying to put his damn hands on somebody without consent and pressure the uke to do things that the uke says time and time again make him uncomfortable. This is by far the most overrated and upsettingly so BL I have ever read. Says a lot about the population reading this and rating it so high that it has a 9.4 rating yikes. I wouldn’t even give this a 9.0 lead alone a 9.4. I’d say 8.9 at most. Damn waste of my fucking time :/

This was a little messed up. And to explain why I will actually insert here the review made by another ,Anglo user, because she described it so well already. User “Dingo123” says... “I really really wanted to enjoy this! It was going so well until we found out about Akira's "incident." I understand that this story is heavily influenced on animal instinct. Instinct is an uncontrollable thing so I don't blame Akira for what he did to Kyoga. What I hated was that Akira knew he hurt Kyoga and not only did he keep this secret from EVERYONE including the doctors but he kept it from Kyoga and continued to be around him. Instead of being the bigger person and getting help for this erratic behaviour even being told the consequences of being a chimera, Akira still exposed Kyoga to danger by being around him knowing he could def hurt him again. I know he even confesses that he was being selfish and unreasonable by claiming it was bc he loved him but I just can't get behind hurting someone in the name of love regardless of instinct or not. I wish I loved this because the story is written beautifully regardless of my dislike with Akira.” So yeah that^ basically sums it up. But I truly did want to enjoy this *sigh* (especially since Okami-kun was such a cute hottie!) Fuck a nigga named Yagi though , he on some big level sexual abuser type shit that’s bad even for BL’s tbh. For this reason and I others, I dub this BL a 9.1.
