as expected of this author, the art- particularly the family expressions- masterfully done, all of it, chef’s kiss bitch. Sex scene? Hottie hot hot. dialogue even, ugh all the times the seme mad me swoon in these short ass chapters uwu (not to to mention us loving a uke who knows what he wants ) solid 9.35

Stop. Hold the fucking phone. Why the hell is this a 9.2 while the likes of Raion Gotoki no Kuni Kara is a whole 9.5?!?!?!?! What the hell? Ugh, whatever. That aside, this was a 9.4 for me dawg. U fucking WU bro. MAN this was so frickin cute. I’ve got one word to describe this BL: “KYAAAAA!”

So much misused potential it hurts to see it . This couple is HOTTTTT, and their love story is quite sweet but unfortunately it is also quite rushed. Like I mean damn, ngl I thought there would be double the chapters than what I got. This was reading like content that could have given/was supposed to give 40 something chapters but we got 25 :( And more so than rushed it was poorly executed. Like it wasn’t a hot mess by any means. It’s just that if the story was told right it could have been a 9.4. *sigh* even though this def needed some work storytelling wise, the premise, the plot, the characters, the romance, the art, and the humor were all good. Especially the humor hahaha. So like, I know some people would think storytelling trumps all of those and is the most important thing and that’s why this was ultimately rated a 9.2, I’m not gonna do that to this. This deserves more than that. I can’t give it the 9.4 I wish I could have, so I’ll settle for a 9.3. (not in proper timeline order) So, just read this GEM for a third time. First time around, I had just started readin BL and hadn’t started writing reviews for them yet. I only read it a second time because by the time the first chapter of the second volume came out after the hiatus, I couldn’t remember it anymore and just read it again to the myself caught it. This time I read it again for no real reason other than because my fond memories of it beckoned me too, and so I’ve decided as might as well review it this time. Im giving this a 9.5. Take the reason behind me giving a 9.5 rating “Eunsoo's Good Day” and the reason behind me giving “Wild City” a 9.7 and find a place in between.... that’s why this here gets a 9.5. I just.... think it has to be one of the funniest, quirkiest lil BL’s I’ve eve come across. Yet unlike the majority of “Wild City” or the entirety “Eunsoo's Good Day”, this BL is soooo much more than a smut vehicle or a meme. And yet it is also both of those things as well. The cuteness is incredible given the nature of the plot. This couple’s feelings are genuine. The vibes are good enough to make a grown man cry. A 9.5 well earned bro. P.S. I cannot overstate how much the comedy was comedying in this bro. This man character is simple perhaps my fav BL protagonist of all time. He is tooooooo fucking much!!!! P.S. I read this sooooo long ago but the date doesn’t reflect that because it was still marked as ongoing.
