Palace of Bardo
I love insane MLs but I don’t know if the payoff was worth it here lmao
Akatsubaki
A guy picks up a demon baby he found in the mountains. But it’s a pretty demon baby. Demon baby grows up and they cherish each other’s company. They continue to love each other. They hide away from society, fearing that they’ll be forced apart. The art is so gorgeous that I can ignore the weird plot.
Harem De Hitori
The author’s storytelling is fantastic. I wish a few stories from this were adapted into films or actual books because they have so much potential. Specifically The King’s Harem and the Canary stories. The stories were a little too short, so there would of course be plot holes, but if they were developed a bit more, they would be perfect.
Samurai for the White Wolf
I love this samurai beauty and the beast plot LMAOOO. The art of the body lines was *chefs kiss* top tier. And the pure angst of having a beast live eternally in solitude unless he finds his true love will just forever be great. Also the little twist that the beast lost his love before ://.
Hosik's story
This was a cute slice of life and the b a b i e s were just adorable :(. The ML sungyeon is weirdly possessive but I live for it because of the ~drama~. The MC Hosik and his friend were really natural characters and it was the main thing that kept me reading. The plot line is simple at first, but there’s an unexpected historical reincarnation plot line that’s revealed near the end. And I’m a sucker for historical plots. Overall a light read. Nothing too complicated or mind blowing. Just very wholesome.
Bena
“Set in the Edo Period. Ichi, who works at a freak show, meets Bena who was captured as a monster. Ichi escapes with Bena to return him to his hometown. The two slowly create happy memories while huddled in a small room. However, Bena is not human. Rather, the “child of a demon”. The realistic story of the two lonely people in the Edo period, written by a new author with an overwhelming art style.” Ah man am I a sucker for historical manga. The art was unbelievably raw and gorgeous—bold and dramatic, just how I like it. The MC and baby demon ML come to love each other and understand one another organically.
Keeper of the Pearl
