Bena
“Set in the Edo Period. Ichi, who works at a freak show, meets Bena who was captured as a monster. Ichi escapes with Bena to return him to his hometown. The two slowly create happy memories while huddled in a small room. However, Bena is not human. Rather, the “child of a demon”. The realistic story of the two lonely people in the Edo period, written by a new author with an overwhelming art style.” Ah man am I a sucker for historical manga. The art was unbelievably raw and gorgeous—bold and dramatic, just how I like it. The MC and baby demon ML come to love each other and understand one another organically.
Legs That Won't Walk
I’m gonna be so honest I didn’t understand half of what was going on like… I’ve lost the plot! The most confusing gang war dialogue I've encountered
Mitsumei
MC goes undercover to spy on childhood friend ML. It was a short, quick read, but I enjoyed reading the dialogue in Casablanca-old-movie accents.
My Childhood Friend Was a God
Interesting concept, but it definitely could’ve been longer than a one shot. There’s a lot of potential in the story but it just cuts off.
Lover Boy
One of the first webtoons I ever read and boy was it a culture shock. I didn’t realize Korean webtoons were so dramatic. There’s tons of drama and misunderstandings, but that’s what makes the ending so satisfying. The MC was getting on my nerves though, since the ML was so sweet.
At the End of the Road
Stop this has no reason being this interesting— I’m waiting for a sequel or something. The MC was drawn very prettily :(. His type of strong personality that takes no BS from bullies was so satisfying and I couldn’t stop reading because of it. The ML was kind of confusing but it was cute how they were more honest to each other at the end I guess. Webtoons also make people way cooler than they should be for some reason-
The Keystone Romantic Combination
Baseball player MC is jealous of ML and resents him for constantly beating him at baseball, but ML is obsessively in love with MC and feels guilty. ML is a puppy and eventually gets MC to grow fond of him. It was cute to see the ML want to get spoiled and the backdrop of baseball was interesting.
