THIS WAS TOO SHORT!! I love everything about the MC. He’s set up by the yakuza madame to go on omiais but he fights every single one of them. The ML is silently protective and I love how at odds the pair was together. ML is all conceal don’t feel and MC does not give a SINGLE fuck. He’s surprisingly needy and literally admits to liking how obsessed the ML is with him . He just likes to boss him around and the ML is fine with it. It made the cliche MC boss/ML bodyguard dynamic so endearing.

A review I read said “ML’s whole existence has been based around MC at this point. Married couple, super sarcastic husband ML and super sardonic wife MC who are annoyingly perfect for each other.” Totally agree. Super weird and problematic without a cultural lens, but suspension of disbelief is needed to get the sarcasm and dynamic of the characters.

Oh my god the MC is so adorableee. He reminds me of Romano in the way that he’s a crybaby, super dense, hot-headed, and challenges the ML a lot. The art for him just got cuter and cuter and I love when mangakas yassify their MCs the more they draw them. There are also just a lot of comedic moments and memes that the mangaka incorporates really well.

Dumb for dumb couple LMAO. There’s so much lore and action but it truly does focus on the mutual pining between the main characters (it’s Romeo x Juliet-esque) and they don’t become sn official couple until the end but you forget they’re not official bc they’re so needy and sappy. The art is also gorgeousss.

Yandere-esque ML, but for some reason this felt too much like a parody of it than an actual good execution of it. The MC was so bland and I didn’t feel like he reciprocated any of the ML’s feelings so it just felt unsatisfactory. The art style was cute at times, but again sometimes it made the genre seem very forced and cliche.

The dynamic at first glance is an earnest ML getting with his cute childhood friend after years of pining, but oh my god it’s so much better than that. The MC in the ML’s eyes is so much more innocent/pure than he actually is, meanwhile the ML is kind of a himbo that the MC hadn’t realized his feelings for. The POV of the MC is much angstier than the ML’s, with a touch of one-sided rivalry/jealousy and guilt towards the MC in his backstory, which I LOVE. The conflict of the ML is basically trying to restrain his horn dog self from the much smaller MC, but the MC is honestly so girlboss like he does not care LMAO and is dying for the ML to make a move. The MC and ML both find each other adorable and it melts my heart. I love how the MC sees the ML. The way the main leads interact with side characters is very wholesome as well, which is always a plus. Also homophobia does not exist in this universe.

MC really said he wants a walking red flag !!! ML was disturbing and MC was just walking Stockholm syndrome but they still had an interesting backstory. Plus the cat motif was cute I guess, amidst all the red flags at least.

The characters’ personalities are so flat and 2D and obviously just written for the pretty pictures, but the art still makes them look so cute ;-;. The ML is manipulative ASF LMAOOO and the MC is like a cookie-cutter shouting MC with less personality and more Stockholm syndrome, but anything for nice art ig.

INSANE ML and the MC just goes along with it . honestly ideal in fiction. ML and MC are childhood friends, and ML gets revenge on the MC’s friend that sabotaged their relationship in the past. The ML basically worships MC and turns his life around just to imprison him in a way, and somehow the MC doesn’t mind it at all . I love ML fake personalities lol it’s so ridiculous and over the top
