Mintfu's manga / #Childhood Friends(45)

I LOOVVEE this mangaka because she just there’s always this tenderness and delicacy that she captures in every one of her story relationships and this one is no exception. A friends to lovers baseball themed love story with an incredibly playful and likable MC and a quiet, pining ML that just fit like a glove.

GODLY art and the author just uses dark bold lines and contrast so well. The MC and the ML are obsessed with each other, and if the leads are married-couple-obsessed, then it’s an A in my book. I usually don’t like vampire stories, but this was a little more interesting. Shounen BLs are always so short, though, and it makes me sad.

Childhood friend 2nd meetings are great. Lots of pining from the ML. The story itself wasn’t that interesting and I lost interest in the couples a couple of times, but it was kind of cute sometimes, and I liked how the MC was very headstrong in that shoujo manga manner.

It is a utopia and everyone cares for everyone and homophobia doesn’t exist ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o). ML pining for the MC was so cute. The domesticity- off the charts. Childhood friends -> marriage will always be my favorite trope.

Honestly really good execution on the trope where the MC is overprotective of the absent-minded (but not really) childhood friend. The art was nice and the MC and ML were hopelessly in love, which is a plus.

Childhood hero cherished the MC so much like YESS that is what I want to see!!! And the MC was so pretty omg… The art was so beautiful and indulgent tbh lmaooo
