I read the first 2 chapters and just... no. Or should I say, I got to the rape and was just fucking angry, especially with so many comments calling this cute. Honestly why do the vast majority of all Omegaverse stories contain rape (often between the main couple)? Seriously? Is it too much to ask for a fun fluffy omega story where "no" is respected? I don't care if it's the omega doing the fucking raping for once, that's still what it fucking is! Fuck! Plus it has the disgusting added twist with this fucking age gap shit. An age gap between adults wouldn't be so bad but he's a fucking 16 year old teenager, newly discovering that he's an Alpha paired with an apparently traumatized adult that should *still* fucking know better. Also the kid is pushed into this weird matchmaking thing by his teacher, but without his parent's consent or presence??? I don't mind couples that fight a lot and have a crazy dynamic, just make it a good story! I can suspend my disbelief for a type of male that can get pregnant and emits pheromones and goes into heat. I can't suspend my disbelief for a newly tested Alpha minor to go to some matchmaking bullshit without his parents even making a fucking token appearance in the panels leading up to it! This poor kid getting immediately assaulted by his partner to-be is just the same omegaverse rape bullshit only flipped so that it's the omega that's the rapist not the alpha like usual. Ugh..
Is getting a rape/non-con/sexual abuse/sexual assault tag for stories like this still too much to ask?? OR at least a warning for people who can't tolerate this kind of shit?? It'd certainly cut down on comments like mine appearing on stories like this.
