He learnt to talk and read and when it was time to marry the second prince Alta and Ilweth tried to elope but they were catched and injured Ilweth was exiled in the far north, while Alta was forced to marry prince Toguto. He was trying to figure out how to go back to Alta but there an accident happened when kids were bringing him to see a waterfall to write about it in the diary he kept for things he wanted to tell Alta, and he lost all his memories. Three years later Alta is going to the far north because of the first prince's coronation and finds Ilweth and asks him why he never answered his letters but finds he has lost his memories...

Now she went to visit the camp with her loving brother Kieran and the Prince Wade to see Claude. Claude left with her the Northern Duchess' flower brooch to claim her because he found out she was a girl the night he was departing for war. Anyway at the camp he told her he likes her for her, didn't tell her that he knows she's girls yet. And now he brought her to an observation point in their camp from witch they can see the enemy camp (Ian's camp); so from that point they have a geographical advantage because they are higher but they are disadvantaged because there is a direct line of sight, so basically it looks like Claude is about to kiss her hoping that Ian would see from afar. and during the prior evening to this, she admitted to herself that she loves Claude.
