The unexpected heat was used as a way for the readers to forget that the uke was mad when he found out that the seme was manipulating his self-worth during (normal) sex. A big part of the synopsis says that he was manipulative and the uke is angry that he finds out the seme was lying! Let me reiterate; he was ANGRY at the seme and didn't want to talk to him at the time, unexpectedly went into heat and COULDN'T control himself (had absolutely no presence of mind besides "fuck me"), the seme took advantage of that WITHOUT even taking him to a safe place away from alphas SO THAT HE CAN TRY TO FIND HELP (either stronger suppressants or calling the uke's beta parents), and the UKE apologized for inconveniencing him, when it was SUPPOSED to be the seme that should apologize because he CAN control himself (he was sober enough to imply that he was not at fault for going to do something that he should be at fault for "YOU ARE the one who seduced ME~"). People need to understand that when omegas are in heat, and you take advantage of them, it's the same as raping someone roofied or drunk. Other than the rape-heat and the beginning where he was manipulating him, they're an absolutely adorable couple. It's a shame this story is called "Starting a family with my silly omega" and they DID NOT start a family, just implied that they wanted to. They was a part where someone who didn't like the seme tried to gangrape the uke, and I just want to say, why does manga put so much explicit detail into an (almost) rape scene as if it were sex?
