your art may be fine, but your storytelling leaves a lot to be desired. I'm just put off by this story for a number of reasons. As her first Omegaverse story, it was a flop to me. I felt that it started ok, like the typical bl romance story, but I think it started to fall apart when she introduced the brother too early. I had to reread this whole series all over again in order to make sense of where the poor storytelling started. I can see that the author didn't really give Hana and Renjaku a chance to get to know each other before putting an obstacle in their way. Because of that, we didn't really get a feel for how both characters really are and why they are the way they are; Hana, though a virgin character, acts like he has no common sense the moment he's off the job; Renjaku, though raised a rich boy and is a celebrated floral artist, speaks like he's been in a gang as he grew up. These two, as the MCs of the manga, are giving me such oddly disconnected vibes in terms of character build. It's very confusing and I can't back this as a good manga.
translated the last chapter. The following day, I was able to see the HeroScans version on a different site and the quality is night and day.
There really is a certain pride to take when doing your own cleaning, translating, proofreading, and typesetting. And that's on top of purchasing the raws and adding in your credit page.
I know there are people here to don't care who is doing the translation, so long as they get a translated chapter, but a lot of people do. I especially like it when quality scans are accepted and stolen ones are not. I find that it takes away from the original groups effort in bringing it to fans when you have translators like this one stealing from a group's site and thinking this is her accomplishment.
My advice for that person, find a translation group and be part of the process so you can actually take pride in not stealing scans that aren't yours.
I'll check the site I go to tomorrow to see if this Extra has been uploaded there by HeroScans. Again, that quality is like night and day.
needs to leave.
Nowhere in this story does it specify which sort of relation Ayumi is to Kotaro. I personally think he's something like a second or third cousin, but definitely not uncle. The only uncle mentioned in this is the one they attended the funeral for.
From what I can put together, I'm guessing one of Ayumi's parents is either siblings with, or first cousins with Kotaro's mum. When Kotaro refers to Ayumi as "my relative's brother" I think it's brother in the Japanese way (as in they call male cousins 'brother' even if they aren't actual siblings).
You are totally right in that the uncle tag is inaccurate. If Ayumi was actually Kotaro's uncle, that would make Ayumi's parents Kotaro's grandparents (which was not the case). I mean yes they are still related, but it's not uncle/nephew. the Uncle tag is misleading.
