I feel like the author went extra lengths to make that teen King super annoying. I get that the abducted attendant of his is a possible love interest but because he is a prince, he should have handed the matters more maturely, you know, by actually using a few of his unused brain cells. Igen treats him just right.
Back to our mc, Kasan, dat boi better get his shit together. Indecisiveness is painful to watch. I hope this doesn't end in tragedy.

Eh I think his reaction was warranted. Kasan is the son on the person who tortured him and ruthlessly murdered his family in front of his eyes. He attempted to murder Igen and now somehow his brother and his men conviniently appear on their day out (which supposedly only Kasan knew the location of). He's a really suspicious guy. The attendant is basically his only family and he's been with him through his hellish years. He might be a "king" but he's just a teenager who's had his family murdered. He's probably really scared that the same will happen again. That stuff would give PTSD to an adult and he's only a teenager.
How? I am pretty sure he was educated in the matters of handling issues. The way he attacked Kasan, was just for revenge. He could have taken Kasan in for questioning which from the king's pov might have helped get the attendent back instead he just went in for the attack. He is far too immature and naive.
Yes but because of his hesitation, Igen could have died. He wouldn't have a lover. His brother would have probably killed him if it weren't for the revenge. It's high time we see Kasan escape the loop of crying because he thinks it's his fault or they think he pulled something and make him cry. Kasan needs to do something. The plot needs to move.

No, actually it does. It's a certain defensive mechanism. Just like when you abuse someone, be it an animal or a human, they will either try to get away or be aggressive. It's given after what he went through. I do find him somewhat annoying as a whole but I do understand where is all the hate coming from.

For a moment there I completely forgot that this manga started off as a psychologically twisted story. All of us were pretty aware that this how it would end but I was hoping for a more Ogawa Chise approach like in Kusatta Rasen . All in all, it was okay could have been better but okay. Respecting the mangaka's will here.
