I don't know what your definition of harem is, some say if more than 2 ML fall in love with FL than it considered harem even though she only end up with 1, so judge for yourself, the story itself isn't focused on romance.

Derrick : an asshole, he disliked the OG Penelope cause she has no manner nor etiquette (no one taught her, what do you expect), but now that she is changed and at least behave like 'human' he said, he began to like her, and started to develop feelings, and later to hide his disgusting feelings, he treated Penelope like shit

Reynold : a tsundere, he care for Penelope as family (it's purely brother-sister relationship)

Vinter : a gentleman, he always see Penelope with sad eyes so he want to see her smile for once, and without knowing it he began to fall for her but he also suspicious of her and tested her resulting in Penelope no longer trusted him, so he is the one who destroyed the chance for his love even before it blooms


Eclise : a yandere, he hated Penelope at first, well he hated anyone from the Empire, Penelope buying him for 100 gold make him want to kill her but he need her, he think she is just a arrogant stupid bitch and planned to use her by acting like a loyal Dog but later he also fall for Penelope even though he knew Penelope never sincere toward him, that's why he goes yandere mode 'If I can't have your heart. I just have your outer shell, I kill everyone so you'll have no one but me' (Eclise is the most pitiful, you can't just hate him no matter what he did)


Calisto : a cinnamon roll, the end game. He might slice Penelope neck when they first met, but he also do the same with Yvonne, he is been dealing with assassin since he can barely walk so everyone who approached him would met with his sword. He likes everything about Penelope, he trust and love her unconditionally, he is the only ML whose favorability rate never fall unlike other ML whose favorability rate fall and rise based on how Penelope act, so Penelope could say and do whatever she want without calculation when she is with him.

Penelope : She is focused on Eclise as her love target (her biggest mistake), though she like Calisto but she has no time to play romance, she need to survive by completing the game before Yvonne appeared. She showered Eclise with sweet word and affection but Eclise knew it was fake since her eyes held no warmth. Penelope admitted that she is the one to blame for Eclise madness. Because she only think of her own survival, she doesn't care about anything else.

I have read several spoilers about this manhwa, so I ask you why you seem to know a lot: is there a full version of the novel? everywhere I look, I only find the first hundred chapters, but I don't find others :(

I’ve still not recovered from the assassination, cave and poison chapters. Moreover, every time he says that he is obliged to not show any weakness, for he is the crown Prince and consequentially the future Emperor, makes my heart swell. DAYUM, WHAT DO I DO WITH ALL THESE FEELINGS? And I’ve also noticed (currently reading the 106th chapter btw) that all the conversations between Callisto and Penelope are always really genuine, hilarious, teasing and surprisingly charming. He’s also the only one who showed real concern during the incident in the first day of the hunt. He said something like: “wow, what a wonderful brother you have” (referring to the moment Derrick went straight to the beast, instead of protecting Penelope and guarding her from any harm)

With Derrick, she is like: “ Never speak to me ever again you pretentious asshat, I’ve lost all of my hopes on you mf and I’m tired of your shit” (what a savage, I’m smitten for Penelope)

With Leonard/Reynold: *bullying has entered the chat*...ok no, they have the typical sarcastic siblings going after each others throat dynamic, amirite? Sometimes they’re a little too extreme, but hey, as you said, Leonard is a little tsundere bitch.

With Vinter: I’ve mixed feelings, seriously, he’s interested in Penelope ‘cause of her cold approach and the whole “you’re different from the other women I’ve met”; don’t get me wrong, Callisto too is interested in Penelope ‘cause of her weirdness. The difference is that between them (Callisto and Penelope) there’s clearly character development and meaningful exchanges, but the Marquis is like some emotional support bag. And I also don’t really like that their encounters are solely based on them helping and repaying their favour, in other to save each others asses, there’s zero development. Though I understand that Penelope is purposely restraining any sort of deeper connection with Vinter, so that’s why I’ve mixed feeling about it.

Eclipse/Eclyss: toxic master-puppy and yandere relationship. I won’t comment any further.

Did I write a whole rant just because I’ve become infatuated with Callisto? Abso-fucking-lutely. He’s the most decent among the other MLs (apart from the moment he almost cut Penelope’s throat, but that’s justified). And my man managed to go from 2% to 45% in like what, 3-4 days. I just can’t wait for the new chapters and the whole Hunting arc.
