On one hand there is jealousy but there has to be trust. You need to trust your partner that he won't hurt you, and that Kanghee couldn't do. And by not trusting him he did the exact same thing he was afraid his BF would do. Go out with a potential love interest.
If I was kanghee I would also need constant assurance
