I feel for all parties involved. My thoughts.
UKE: Its really hard when you think you closed off a part of your life and thought you moved on until your past is unexpectedly starring you in the face. And now you have all these unresolved feelings shaking up your life that was going perfectly fine. All the things you pushed to the back of your mind. All the feelings you swallowed down just to move forward in life from a hurtful past is now in the forefront blocking your path
SEME: Why me? Is the first thing that comes to mind. What did I do wrong? Did I not love you enough? Did all my efforts fall upon blind eyes and deaf ears? This just screams “What did I ever do to you?” To be blindsided like this is so hurtful when you thought things were going so good. You were so in love even ignored the red flags.
SIDE SEME: Everybody always wishes they had a second chance at something, especially love. You never really mean to end things on bad terms so if you have the chance to start over again, wouldn’t you too? And this time you’ll fight harder because you don’t want things to end the same, no matter the obstacles or consequences. This love was yours and you want to reclaim it.

What you said about seme breaks my heart. I can totally imagine him thinking along thoae lines ╥﹏╥
But side seme gives me real bad vibes. I don't think he really loves the uke. It just feels like he wants to cause chaos and leave. Especially when he smiles, he looks like he's plotting summin.

SMH! I hate when they do this! It is so insulting to try to hook someone up with somebody else after they have expressed to you how they feel about you

It's ironic that they are both like that to each other. Haderius calls him his bride, not by his name, repeatedly; and moves in next door after getting into his school all after being rejected several times. And you're right, it is still messed up to offer up a replacement...and why would he assume H is bi?

He is forcing his feelings on this uke by not calling him by his name...he calls him his bride....if he called him a groom I would say the same. I guess my comment wasn't clear.
Haderius calls him that despite being rejected by him as if his feelings don't matter and this marriage thing was gonna happen eventually, regardless. So the uke tries to introduce this cute chick without regard for Haderius' confession of his feelings. It sucks even more that the uke didn't consider that Haderius was gay, not bi.

Ok but to answer your last sentence, haderius DOESN'T mind the uke's gender, so basically it wasn't specifically proven that he's "just gay". I also get what you're trying to say, regarding the fact that they don't want to consider each other's feelings. And tbh, I don't have a solid answer to this but perhaps it's one of haderius customs to call the uke, his bride. Personally, I don't have anything against haderius calling the uke "bride" somehow, it's an honest honorific to me. Hasn't it been one of yaoi's good ol' yaoi plots for the past updates? The typical seme proposing to the uke that he'll be his future bride and all? Honestly, it's so random but where'll be the drama without it? As for the uke trying to play match maker, I am indeed curious of what the progress and development would be, sure it was insensitive of the uke to do such a thing and it's not excusable.
