Is this a new thing? Since when can you not consent to things drunk? People have drunk sex all the time. Literally why bars exist.

If you stab someone while you're drunk, do you think you can just say "it wasn't my fault, I was drunk"? No dude, you're getting manslaughter. Do you think if you hit someone with your car when you're drunk you can just say "I was drunk which means I'm not responsible"? Again, no. There's an age limit for drinking for a reason. It's so you can legally accept the consequences for your stupid actions.

Fully unconscious body that you have sex with? Rape. Uncomfortable bad decision you regret when sober? Poor life choice. Not rape, you silly lemmings. Probably better if you stop cheapening actual rape because it's the fun buzz word of the moment.

Being intoxicated is not really a free pass for anything. Good luck with that defence anywhere.

Not to be rude or start an argument, but think about it this way. When you go to a bar to have drunk sex, you are consenting before hand while you are sober that you can have sex. On the other hand you can't consent while drunk if you didn't consent while sober. And bars don't just exist to have drunk sex, but to enjoy time with friends and loved ones or just meet new people. Just here for friendly discussion. (Loved being called a silly lemming).

You can absolutely consent drunk if you didn't consent sober. This is also a legal fact, not just my opinion, but with which I agree.

If you cannot consent drunk, that is literally the same as saying the bar is force feeding you alcohol every time you order a drink because you cannot make appropriate decisions.

It's literally just shuffling the blame for your bad onto the rest of the world, which is crazy.

Think of it this way: what constitutes intoxication or sober? If you take an advil, you're under the influence of something. Are you not responsible? The line here is human free will. You are responsible for what you put in you, and all actions that arise from those choices, whether or not you regret them.

But you're not always aware of what you are doing while drunk. People who get black out drunk are a good example. This may be law, but the law isn't always correct.

It's an irrelevant argument. Regret or poor decision making on your part does not mean the other person "raped" you. Especially not if you physically climb them like a tree and demand sex. They don't have to pull out a pocket breathalyzer and check your level before making a decision. They didn't do anything wrong at all, and crying rape later is pretty disgusting.

People who get black out drunk and choose to drink are still responsible for what they do while drunk because they chose to drink.

Are people who get blackout drunk and doing the raping excused? Suddenly it's an obvious no. Are two drunk people raping each other? Does it cancel out or can one be more raped and therefore more at fault? Lunacy.

I really don't understand why this concept is so difficult. Seems everyone's always trying to shift the blame for what is ultimately just poor decision making by an individual onto everyone else.

No idea where you're from but all north american laws absolutely do agree with me. Nice try, though.

The moment you have sex with someone who's drunk, it can be considered rape if the person presses charge, might want to look into the definition of rape. :)

Seriously, you might want to take your own advice. You can press charges all you want, but it will be thrown out or dismissed. Legal prescedence does not consider personal intentional intoxication a valid ground for a rape charge except in the case where the victim is unconscious, as I've already said.

The defenition of of rape doesn't change with your personal regret or feelings no matter how many times you say it. Legally you are responsible for your own actions when intoxicated on anything.

I am so disappointed in the comment sections of everything these days. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

Not sure why everyone's whining about the translators. It's pretty obvious they don't care about you opinion and they don't even actually post it here themselves to read your commentary. If they did, it would probably amuse them. I think they're generally shitty translators and their comments are annoying, but I accept it when I click. Repeatedly crying about it is really just clutter.

Personally think that trigger warnings are stupid, but they don't really bother me one way or the other. I just scroll past initial pages until there's comic, so I rarely see them either way. I just think if you can't be bothered to read tags when you know there's things you don't want to read there shouldn't be an additional failsafe for your laziness. It's like a spoiler to me. Can you imagine if novels started having trigger warnings on the cover? Ridiculous.

Also seems a lot of you are pushing your own agendas pretty hard. :/ Seme appears to be a straight dude, who likes being a dude, who seems to have an image complex. If he likes to wear women's clothes because they make him feel good, cool. If he likes to wear women's clothes because he has some deep seated issues about looking like a dude, probably bad. Not everything develops from a good place that needs to be wrapped up in a blanket and protected. I'm content to just see where the author is going.
