Well is it an american made anime or Korean/Japanese? It'll be heavily censored if it's not American made. Most Americans don't give a shit and censoring stuff.

Me too,I really hate it when studios take extremely explicit yaoi manga and then try to make censored pg13(?) shows out of them.

Honestly same, but the thing is that if they try to make it r18 the tv is not going to air the serie. I remember one time the japanese seiyuu is Viktor of Yuuri on Ice said they almost didnt air the first episode because Viktor was naked at the onsen.
