Technically, I've worked with rape victims and such, and people who slept together and were both under the influence are at fault or are also both victims because they could not give proper consent. So, given that information about Matthew he couldn't consent to proper thoughts. He's still at fault though. So that's why people are arguing that he was under the influence. No, if you were to take this to court, the drugs would only lower Matthew's sentence but he'd still be at fault and serve time.

It wasn’t really just “her own feeling” she sacrificed a lot of things to be with him. From what I can see, their marriage was perfect at first, but as time went on she starts to doubt herself and her choices because she was always supportive for him, but she felt like there was no one to do the same for her. They’re both at fault in some aspects but also, no one is in the wrong. I’m glad he starts to notice her feelings more and became more supportive :)
