I liked it very much. The story was good. Character development was good. The hypocrisy and realness of it got me to read it in one go. Yusuke did alot of bad things but in the end he died as a good person. He tried to help people for a long time and most of it he accepted because of his fragile mentality. If i was in his place and all the people who i try to help dies i would have killed myself way before but considering all the things he did, it was good punishment but it was more than enough because with the 10 years of his redemption arc of him trying to be a good person, being kept as a dog, seeing his mom like that, being take advantage of, also in the manga he never touchs another women I'm guessing. So all in all. Hes done more than enough but not enough to substitute for all his victims pain but still he was a good person in the end and he just wanted someone to have some faith and trust in him. And the story shows the reality of alot of things.

The god told her multiple times that hes with her, but in the end she just yelled 'somebody save us'. He told her sooooo many times that she can command him. But noooo. rather than being oblivious it seems more that she couldn’t trust him and she still doesn’t unfortunately. which is in fact fucking annoying, but it’s understandable in a way seeing as how hard her life has been and as of right now she seems to only trust the church or that priest from the beginning and this duke’s family. i reallllllllllly fucking hope she starts trusting him and asking for help bc he is there FOR HER(￣∇￣") i think this will be a bit of a slow burn....
Se this is what I don't understand. The church stood by while she was getting abused and didn't protest her becoming the sacrifice, but she trusts them? She trusts the Duke's family? The only reason that she is able to even approach them is cause of the ML who saved her and said that he'd never hurt her and that she can trust him cause he is bound to her and can only do the stuff she wants him to do. How is it that she's able to trust literally everyone else who say that they'll help her but be unable to trust him? There is a limit to what earthly authorities can do against the emperor right? Like I would trust him for that reason alone - he's much more powerful and I know that he doesn't need to adhere to the politics of the empire.
I get the feeling that he’ll say some shxt like how he can’t tell her this right now. she trusts him bc she was aware he was against her being the sacrifice, but that doesn’t mean he could change the outcome of whether or not she was it. bc if it wasn’t her it was gonna be another person which is probably that blonde bitch, which obviously wasn’t going to happen as she had the kings and everyone else’s favour. not only that but i think they had a friendly relationship?- i’m not sure what his position in the church is but i doubt he can solely make decisions on how they act and proceed, plus he would have faced opposition seeing as how they needed a god’s protection to fight against the evil or whatever the fuck it is.
another reason why i doubt she’d put her trust in him so quickly is bc she knows NOTHING about him, she doesn’t know what boundaries she can and can’t cross, she doesn’t know what he’s thinking sometimes, and not only that but anyone would be rightfully scared and fear him after what she saw his powers could do. just bc he’s powerful doesn’t mean she can be comfortable with putting her trust in someone she know literally nothing abt. plus so far she’s only really put her trust in TWO people which is the duke and the priest so no, she’s not putting her trust in “everyone else”.
