Your thinking of the wrong character. Megumi was always a model. Mei and Megumi look a alittle like. I tell the difference by remembering Mei has straight hair and Megumi's is curly/wavy.
The manga is probably ending soon and it's based on romance and maturing so it's going to show after highschool too.
