Couldn't they use a blood bank? So they don't have to suck blood? Also if they have the average life span of a human before they go into a cocoon then that means they kill 50+ people

I was thinking the same thing, this girl Tina is so annoying, almost stop reading after the first few chapters
I'll wait to see if he really ends up killing the girl in the prologue like he said he did.
