OK hear me out, the reason why Mikey wanted to disbanded the group is for Takemichi. Like we all know the future if Take is still part of the gang, a boss with lots of money but still have many dangers for his gf. After Mickey hearing the whole story he disbanded the group just for his hero, his brother and his friend, he suffered a lot with so many burden and Mikey wants to do give something back to him. Besides they are all teens so all of it it's just a game I guess. And I wanna see Takemichi getting married to his gf and all of the past gang members are there celebrating with him and saluting.
