I wonder if it can be called ‘cheating’ when he was upfront about his affair the whole time. But yea…still don’t like it.
Especially the public display of physical and verbal domestic violence.

I would consider it cheating bc uke found out he was having sex with someone else and confronted to him about it, after which he admitted it. That’s not being upfront, and there was no negotiating or asking for consent from the uke. Imo it’s just another form of abuse. Open relationships are completely different.

By upfront I meant he wasn’t trying to hide it nor did he lie to keep the cover.
But yea In any case I don’t like it. And yea it can be seen as abuse because ultimately he wasn’t being treat fairly or equally. He was forced into the relation despite his own feelings at the time. They were put in the circumstances that he couldn’t refuse the marriage anyway. Considering all that the seme never even intended to honour the marriage is just absurd.

Found the raws on newtoki. Don’t understand korean so incomplete spoilers for the first 25 chapters ahead.

SPOILERS
After chapter one the seme passes out at the table (his coworkers abandon him lol) and uke has to take him home. They end up sleeping on the same bed together and uke takes seme’s shirt off.

When seme wakes up he has no recollection of the night before and freaks out. Some flashbacks show that seme has essentially kept himself pure for uke so he’s devastated when he thinks he slept with uke. Not sure if seme knows uke is his lady (again, don’t understand korean) but my guess is no since he has an antagonistic attitude towards uke. This misunderstanding is cleared up since they’re still wearing pants but seme leaves.

Uke’s background is pretty tough. His childhood started out okay but later on his dad became an alcoholic and his mother left. Now he works multiple jobs. One of these jobs is a convenience store where seme runs into him (I’m pretty sure the same day). They have an exchange where I think seme thinks uke is following him around deliberately and uke responds with something no that embarrasses the seme and he runs away.

Of course in typical human disaster fashion he quickly comes backs to sneak peaks at uke. He notices that uke essentially it’s only convenience store food and he starts to make extra at home. He is too embarrassed to actually give it to uke so he ends up bringing it to work and sharing it. They’re enthusiastic at first but the more days seme brings food they start rejecting him (maybe he’s over feeding them xD). I’m not sure why so don’t ask me. Wish I knew how to read korean. Eventually a coworker suggests something. I’m assuming it’s to finally give the food to the uke because that’s what he ends up doing. Uke accepts and seme gets all blushy.

Some time passes with seme bringing food to uke and they get closer. However at some point uke goes missing and seme can’t find him despite looking for him everywhere and asking everyone he knows who knows uke. Nothing comes up.

Eventually seme runs into uke near his company. Uke is wearing as mask and avoids him. Seme gets suspicious and removes uke’s mask, and reveals the large bruises on uke’s face where he clearly got hit (by his father). Seme drags uke off to a private room and lifts uke’s shirt where the damage is even worse near his rib cage. Another thing that gets revealed is uke’s birthmark that matches the same one in his past life. Seme finally confirms/realizes that uke and his lady are the same person. He’s so entranced he doesn’t realize that uke is embarrassed at being put in such a vulnerable position and uke pushes him away and runs off while seme is distracted.

Seme proceeds to have what can only be called gay panic. Which makes me question whether they were together or not in their past lives? They did bathe together and past life!seme gave uke flowers but in the flashbacks they never kiss. Seme has his freak out and erm starts “fantasizing” about uke’s naked body in the past life which turns into a fantasy about uke’s present body.

Then he starts stalking uke at work xD Uke has his own troubles so he mostly ignores seme’s antics. Poor guys is going through it ): Eventually seme does talk to the uke and they make up but seme is kind of awkward bc he has flashbacks to his fantasies when looking at uke.

SPOILERS PART 2
Something happens. I’m not sure exactly what/why but seme gives uke a present and uke reacts badly to it. I think it reminds him of a past traumatic event? Seme actually didn’t do this on purpose. I wish I knew korean on this one. But uke cries and pushes seme away.

Unfortunately his timing is pretty bad as his father has been drinking and this time it’s worse since someone laced his drink with some sort of substance? Uke comes home to that person and his dad near the house. His father has trashed the place and when uke gets home he beats uke even worse than last time. Eventually uke is left alone to clean up his wounds. Then he gets a call from his mother (honestly she gets on my nerves). I think she asks uke for something but uke shows her his wounds and she starts crying.

Uke goes home again, but he finds the same person from last time outside. Then some mafia looking guys show up and uke makes a run for it.

Uke is eventually left alone on the streets with nowhere to go and sad and it starts to rain. He ends up going to seme’s apartment and buzzing him. Seme let’s him in. They have a conversation while uke is crying and eventually seme kisses him and they have sex.

What follows is a sweet period where they get to be a lovey dovey couple. Meanwhile without uke’s knowledge seme does some maneuvering in the background to help fix uke’s life situation (including beating the shit out of uke’s dad and idk contacting uke’s mom all she does is cry every panel she’s in fr, have a hard time being sympathetic to someone who abandons their child to a man they know is abusive).

Of course some bitch has to ruin it (idk who he is but he’s some random dude who seems into seme). He comes over and says something to uke that makes uke leave the seme. Seme does not take it well lol. His yandere side comes out and he starts fantasizing about locking uke up so he’ll never leave him. But I think he loves uke too much to hurt him and he lets uke go.

They spend some time apart but eventually uke gets a call from his father, who is furious at seme for humiliating him and planning to stab him. Uke runs to save seme, and eventually ends up getting stabbed in a repeat of what happened in their first life.

Luckily uke doesn’t die. He wakes up in the hospital with seme next to him and they make up.

There’s also a scene where he kind of finds out all that seme has been doing for him. Including a conversation he has with his mom where she gives him some papers (idk what for but it seems seme asked for her to give them to uke in exchange for helping her). Uke’s mother essentially left to be with another man and start a new family. The two of them had a daughter but eventually the man cheated and left to be with another woman, and the daughter got sick. Uke’s a better person than me bc he seems to forgive her.

Then happily ever after.

ngl the "lady" went through wayyy too much lol, that's actually so sad, for it to be like that in both lives. i wish it continued as a yuri not a yaoi bc of the seme/uke and unfortunate/saviour position cliches

I’m not quite sure. It seemed they did have mutual feelings for each other but there wasn’t any physical activities that really proved it. I think there was maybe a kiss? But it’s been too long and it might have been a dream sequence.
