You might've already read it, but Jujutsu Kaisen feels pretty inspired by HxH at times. You could also try reading the author's other work, Yu Yu Hakusho which is also a good work.
Also not entirely sure about how similar they are, but I've read Rurouni Kenshin is similar to HxH. Idk how true that is though.

For manhwa, maybe you'd like Shin Angyo Onshi. Its not exactly like HxH but it is a good shounen + adventure imo.
Also I remember thinking the MC in Letter Bee was similar to Gon so maybe try that.
