I don't think it was anti-black...he called everyone his slave from the spell. The black guy in the party got especially offended more because of history obviously so he spit out racist remarks too.
It is a story...and the characters are as such...there was no racism intended when he was like "you are now all my slaves" because he was only explaining how the spell worked. If anything, it was the black dude in the group that was racist....but I think it was just out of anger and retaliation.

That's not what the author meant I'm sure cuz majority of the people he was talking to was white. If anything it makes racism towards asians seem more normalized in the black community (I'm black myself so I came actually speak on it)
It's how the author portays the BLACK MAN. He portrays him as violent, angry, and almost like a gorilla, which is incredibly fucking racist.
