Yes I’m upset that the author decided to change her skin pale, HOWEVER I’m glad that they didn’t choose to go the “oh thank you for accepting me family that’s all I’ve wanted” path and instead made it clear with the FL that she is still not ok and that just because she looks different and everyone likes her now does not make what they did in the past ok.
God i love this one so much!!!! This is by far one of the healthiest relationships in a manga I’ve seen. Good communication, they both respect each other, and they’re loyal and show their love to each other like it can’t get any better than this wholesome piece of fluff
