Guys I think Jihwan did something with the uni results which is why Sooyoung couldn't get in despite performing so well. If Jihwan's father treated Jihwan's mother the same way Jihwan is starting to treat Sooyoung then it's not surprising she went insane.
Sooyoung is not an actual human being with feelings and aspirations to Jihwan he is simply an object to him. A pretty object Jihwan is obsessed and wants to keep him chained to his side like a mindless puppet. Yuck
