i have a feeling he’ll find out about his dead dad from someone else but then he’ll get mad at mc for not saying the truth in the first place . with the mom there, it wouldn’t be surprising because the only thing the parents do in this fucking story is cause problems
i tried to get into this story four times because the art was pretty, but my god the dialogue and character relationship development was awful. i thought i was being odd, but no it’s just the story… the main couple have no meaningful interactions so i felt barely any romance build up between them. i didn’t like how his trauma was portrayed and that somehow this alpha is given special treatment after giving us literally nothing??
their relationship felt really forced to me because they were special to each other based on the most insignificant past meeting they had!! and then there was barely any bonding, so the half-assed blushing or them getting flustered after the badly timed physical touch was a letdown
i get your first reaction is to be super harsh on dojun but his reaction is so realistic? he used to not only admire and respect minwoo but like him romantically, putting him on a pedestal. minwoo was also helping him during his hardest/lowest moments and offering unconditional support for years. after saying extremely fucked up things to dojun suddenly, i find it strange his kindness and low self-esteem is being hugely targeted when he has a complex relationship with his own self worth and isn’t able to fully accept the person he once loved embodies that shitty interaction. it’s literally only been a few hours since it happened guys not months or years… he hasn’t even processed the situation and is also currently going through a fever after his panic attack episode too like ??
idk how easily you guys say he’s still in love when he made it so clear he didn’t. so out of respect for his current relationship, he ended the friendship out of goodwill while paying back minwoo monetarily. he doesn’t hate him because he was still the person who kept him afloat all these years, but that doesn’t mean he has any feelings either
it looked like hidden jealously from the way the memory was brushed off. something tells me he’s the possessive type, i hope it’s in a healthy way where he sulks and gets clingy
not even mad at the other athletes for switching over to the other gym lol. they were treated horribly and had no reason to stay loyal if the only thing keeping them there was jae’s reputation and teachings. hate how after all this time, potato barely spoke up as well as everyone else when they were all looking to point fingers at dan too!!
next week is the season finale, so im guessing this is where dan parts ways with jae since it’s alluding to his grandmas death
i didn’t like the build up to the ending or really the ending itself and think it underestimated kangjins love for jungkwon. we saw how the story used most of the chapters to express how deep the romantic connection is between the two of them, so the fact that kangjin was essentially forced to play a lover after being abducted made me question how that slowly dissolved his feelings for jungkwon? as if the days and longing he had with jungkwon was washed away/their freshly built up relationship became nothing all because of chisoo being more kind after their reunion. with kangjins issues it’d make sense for him to be alone in the end if he loved both jn and chisoo or realized he needs to heal and seek internal validation- explaining his abstinence to both relationships. but him only loving chisoo in the end, and giving it up because he choosing crime was so underwhelming…
maybe im just not a fan of main characters having to face severe trauma and pain and it being patched up with a rushed final bang. their peace being without each other left me baffled rather than hopeful as they could’ve faced things with each other instead of giving ultimatums and then left abandoned with open ended storylines. felt we didnt get satisfaction for any of the storylines besides jn getting a house for his family but even then, him going back making them a second priority was really sad (for the mom and sister)
he’s a very proactive character who’s stubborn and doesn’t back down from achieving what he wants. its nice seeing someone be assured in their opinions and still trying to do the work to improve themselves. thinking of other bl, so many characters don’t do that kind of work even if it’s uncomfortable or hard. plus i appreciate how he’s autistic coded
it presents in different ways, and this isn’t a diagnosis so chill
this author never fails to amaze. they look so pretty with long hair and hanboks!! i was waiting for the side stories, yeon-oh is shown a good good time (⌒▽⌒)

my heart dropped seeing the change in the art panels and the delivery of his words. i was hoping it wasn’t going to be something as evil as csa, but it was… poor cirrus has been hurt so badly by the world. the adults in his life destroyed his innocence and all of them deserve to burn alive im not even joking. there’s a special place in hell for pedophiles and abusive/neglectful parents
the angst, unreciprocated romance, and reuniting as adults turning into whipped ml who becomes possessive and clingy while the mc is cluelessly in love but normal?? we need another story like this again
the transition from the first couple being official and then introducing the next one (≧∀≦)!! im excited to see how both couples get to know each other more and wonder how the dynamic will be for the second one
i burst into laughter seeing him as the roach?? but it’d be an interesting take if he was forced as a main character against his will… it’d be a comedy turned horror survivor story. like if he doesn’t bottom or top he turns into a mindless no face npc who’s fighting for his consciousness to stay
