ngl I prefer this story it has more thrill and plot twist in the first chap the main story was more melancholy and depressing.

Me too, I decided to take a break at reading it then when I saw a lot of new updated chapters I went back to it good thing I did. (≧∀≦)
I used to hate Jeanette with a passion but after seing this chap, I realized she just wanted a family and she’s just a pawn in this whole power struggle thing, honestly instead on hating her hate on her father and that former emperor those piece of sh*ts. I would appreciate Lucas affection for athy more if maybe those stinky nobles weren’t being annoying!!(● ˃ロ˂)੭⁾⁾
If you think about it, it could be foreshadowing that Lucas will burn the entire Empire if Athy dies...

After KS, and Harada sensei’s work this is probably one of the few stories I legit got chills.
