I like this and hate it same time lol Doha actually creeps me out. FL is just confusing because I like her fiesty initiative, but her over the top touching is just plain irritating. It’s seductive and she acts all innocent like she has no idea. At the start I gave the benefit of doubt, but she’s in a relationship and then touching other men’s faces and lips who clearly like her back. She can’t be this ignorant. Doha blushing into the next universe. It’s plain inappropriate ESPECIALLY since she thinks she’s dying soon and here she is creating victims of abandonment. And the whole dying alone thing is also dumb. Like how is that less painful than being by their side until the end.

Got to love the church. Totally approves the marriage of a 40+yo man buying his 14 yo bride, but calls her and Jeremy incest. They’re not blood related. She only married the father for like 2 years(?). Look it’s weird, but considering their relationship wasn’t romantic and short lived, it’s hardly incest and much more appropriate. I am glad she’s with Nora though haha
It’s refreshing to see an actual male supporting character for the FL. They almost always turn into a weak second or third lead and it’s just annoying. Males and females can just be friends who support and care for each other without any romance and THIS STORY DOES IT. I love it. I love sing. I love lass. Yay for the support on the ML and FL ship
I feel like people are misunderstanding the ML a bit. I have never hated him once. Yes he’s cruel and cold and literally dgaf about the concubines and FL at the start, but it’s clear he’s had a terrible and horrific childhood which lead him to this. And the concubines were almost all psychotic and all were political things anyway
Believe it or not, even in the previous timeline, he treated her the best of the concubines. He actually healed her eyes, and he heals NO ONE and they were enemies. Oh and they were ENEMIES. Of course he takes her prisoner and locks her up. Yes maybe not let the concubines torture her, but safeguarding an enemy prisoner was hardly his priority during a war and he didn’t ask them psychos to do it. He also offered her more than once to side with him, and he doesn’t do that for anyone else.
So even past life ML was actually randomly better to FL than anyone else.
Now he’s all in with her and his ice heart is melting, and hers is too, and they’re beautifully ruthlessly, psychotic together. And he totally gets her whole revenge thing which is also awesome.
Can we move on or off the grandpa already? He’s gotten way too much screen time for a useless character that replays the same lines like a broken record. He’s infuriating. He’s pulling tantrums and threatening war over two consenting adults wanting to get married. I am afraid of what it was like under his reign.
His claim to ‘knowing’ Judith is also annoying. He’s just projecting his sister on her acting like he knows her sooooo well when he’s only known her for like a few months

Even Luca is just not cute anymore. Like I get his reasoning, but for a possible maybe inner adult, he doesn’t understand that familial love and romantic live are totally different. Ruedigard is with Luca out of sense of duty (well at least the past), but Judith is a CHOICE. You can’t lump it together.
And honestly, even if you could, it’s NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Judith is an adult woman and her romantic life is her own. Luca gets zero input.
