ML actually loves the FL. But the biggest villain in the story is the FL’s dad, unlike other stories where the father has a change of heart, the father hates her till the end. The reason ml took the baby from her was because of her ptsd so like she already couldnt take care of herself so naturally he thought she might harm the baby too, but after the baby turns 6(?) he had plans to return him. Then fl’s dad together with the emperor sends ml to the battlefield for a few years and missed his chance of giving back her baby when he came home from war cause fl’s dad made a mistress stay in fl’s house without his consent and the kid like imprinted on the mistress as his mom so he couldnt kick out the mistress either. So why cant the ml fight back? the fl’s father threatened not only his position as duke(?) but also the life of his wife and their son. So like in the first TL the fl’s dad was happy at fl’s funeral cause she’s finally dead but like still unsatisfied cause she didnt suffer enough. So yeah, yall should hate the fl’s shitty excuse of a father.

I get what you're saying BUT i still think that ml is at fault for separating the fl & her child. It's true she didn't seem like she could take care of el coz she's afraid that if she touches him then her "curse" will attack el but she didn't hate el nor would she ever hit the kid. So how does that translate to she might harm the baby?? Another thing is if he really did love her then why did he treated her so coldly. Why couldn't he support her & be her strength when he knew about her ptsd problem

I understand what you mean but it might harm El mentally seeing his mother not even able to touch him. Harming someone does not always mean its physically it can also be mentally. And imagine growing up with your mom avoiding you, if it was me id think my mother hated me. (English is not my first language so please excuse my grammar)
