You all are talking about “character development this” and “character development that” but u need to understand niro’s mindset. His environment and background will change how he sees things, and now he knows he is the son of a hero and has some new complex and stuff, of course he will change. Niro is striving for his goal and wont let anyone get in the way, and he can’t let his guard down - like how he is being cruel to niera (idk how to spell her name ) although this is unnecessary, he is trying to distance himself from her, which in turn he is trying to protect her from his new self. Although the mentality of these characters are extreme- they make more sense than forgive and forget- if u want character development please go read another shonen novel.
