It's not just being too good for you own, it's the feeling that no matter how drained, beat up and hurt you are by them, you think to yourself that you're bound by blood and there's nothing you could do to erase that. No matter how you want to escape far away, abandon them as they've left a great turmoil within you, the weight of guilt that they're your "family" pins you in place.
