I said it before, I'll say it again: WE know Iris feels like she's receiving comparatively less love from Mildred - because we've been observing her reactions over several chapters. Mildred doesn't have an omniscient viewpoint like we the readers do. IRIS is the one who said that she doesn't want to treat Ashley well bc she blames Ashley's father for causing their situation. Mildred responded to the concerns that Iris herself communicated. Stop acting like Mildred brought the blaming thing up out of nowhere just to make Iris feel bad, when she was just responding to Iris' own words. Mildred's doing her best with what she's told.
I actually love that she had to get reincarnated 8 times before the drastic shift in personality. It made sense for her earlier timid personality that with her first several tries, she'd just try to Be Better For Them, So They Would Love Her. Only after 8 failures does she finally truly accept that there is no changing them. She got to experience every possible outcome and confirm for herself that these people well and truly aren't worth her love and effort. Good for her!

why do I feel like the art style degraded in the last few chapters... like the author made the first and last chapters first and then did the filler, but the filler artstyle ended up developing a lot, and now it's jarring looking at the sudden shift back into the style of the first few chapters.
