Maybe just because it was... so irritating. I've never had a Harlequin male annoy me quite as much as this one. I kept waiting for him to come around and see what he'd done, but he never really did. He was insufferable to the very end, so I agree that it was "so irritating", and I know exactly what irritated me! HIM!

I randomly decided to reread this since I kinda forgot what happened. It’s definitely more dark & confusing than I remembered. Never liked Long and I’m sorta butthurt he got a happy ending...
