The thing is usually the ML goes back in time or is reincarnated and know the contents of what happens and they change the characters around them. Because of the changes in a way you can think of it as an AU or different dimension or timeline and accept that the abusive character isn't they same person. BUT THAT FUCKER IS THE SAME DUDE WHO DID ALL THAT SHIT. Plus the worst part is at least in other stories the character who is being embodied or reincarnated might of actually did something bad and there for they are sentence to death. Bella did nothing wrong and was sold to be a slave/toy of a sadistic person. You are right get that it's a trope and regarding circumstances I think that is why I can forgive in other stories but this one, no just no. Not saying anything you said was wrong and I agree with you 100%, jus wanted to let of some steam because I'm pissed at this story, the author of the story, and mostly myself for continuing to reading deep down knowing that this was the end.
