yeah, I'd like to know if this is actually shotacon before I read...
I don't get the tag either, because I've read the novel up to chapter 46 and the brat form indeed is not his true form (he has both an adult form and a true 'huge beast' form which is his real form) and as of chapter 46 in the novel the mc treats him like a child and doesn't want to do anything with him even when he manages to manifest in his adult form... This isn't spoilers because it's basically the beginning of the plot: the brat is actually an adult and he's like this one of these really ancient supernatural creatures who were sealed in amult-like objects and forced to become familiars that can only come out from the amulet by borrowing the user's power, with which they can manifest a physical form. The mc decides to become a
and summons the ancient being sealed in the sword, but he comes out like a brat and basically useless, because the mc lacks spiritual power and training, but the brat can't get a new user because no one else is compatible, so he's begrudginly forced to stay in the brat form most of the time while the mc vows to train in order to develop enough spiritual power yet to summon him in either his adult form or his true beast form, so they can kick some butt...
I hate, HATE that cheating scumbag so fucking much. If the female lead doesn't grow any backbone soon, imma have to stopped reading this for my own sanity.
